POPSNo Surprise Here Hamas continues to lob bombs into Israel and then cries foul when Israel fights back... Now they won't go for a cease-fire unless all their demands are met. That is NOT negotiation, it is a continuation of criminal/terrorist behavior. If this were happening in our backyard we would not have had the patience or the restraint of the Israelis. Watching the demonstrations of TV - both sides - and hearing about all the different governments calling for a cease-fire I find one single element consistently missing: No one mentions how long Hamas has been pulling this crap and how many people they've killed and how much damage they have done. Why? Israel is a sovereign nation. They deserve to live in peace and occupy their land. So much for 'objective' reporting.

POPSHabitat For Hamas Please support us in our efforts to legitimize Hamas, they are much more than just a terrorist organization. Habitat for Hamas will help with Hamas families housing problem, despite the group’s stated commitment to the violent destruction of the state of Israel, because you can’t always get prerequisites adopted by other people before you even grovel and beg.

POPSIsrael foils plot to kill Palestinian president "Matti Steinberg, a former adviser to the head of Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic security service, said he would be surprised if any decision to kill Abbas had been taken by Ismail Haniyeh, the Palestinian prime minister, or Khaled Mashaal, the Damascus-based Hamas leader. “However, such an action by the military wing of Hamas is very plausible,” he added." I am somewhat skeptical that Hamas would try to kill Abbas; I am not sure what it would achieve other than Hamas looking even worse than it does now. It is plausible that Israel and Abbas are using thin (or no) evidence of a Hamas assassination attempt to discredit them. I am NOT saying that Hamas is too good to kill Abbas; I am saying Hamas is *perhaps* too *smart* to kill Abbas.
