POPSFashionable Dog Costume for your favorite pooch
More and more dog owners are becoming fascinated with fashionable dog costumes. Buying a dog costume for your favorite pooch is becoming a new craze nowadays. And because of this, most dog clothing stores accepted this idea and made adjustments in their dog clothing line to accommodate this tremendous change. Celebrities have been the initiators of such craze by not only dressing up their dogs, but also dressing them up for certain occasions. Have you seen a Chihuahua wearing a princess like dress that is similar to Cinderella? Or have you seen a Pug wearing a Batman costume? You would definitely agree that they look so cute and adorable. Since dogs are considered a major part of our family, you always want to share with them special events in the family as well. Some dog owners would dress up their favorite four-legged buddy during Halloween, Christmas and New Year. Dog costume has already been a part of any dog owner’s list when buying dog clothes. POPSFox Passed Off GOP Talking Points As Their Own Reporting So, in short, Fox News received a press release from a GOP outpost, and rather than reporting it out or applying even the teeniest bit of critical scrutiny, they cut-and-pasted the whole kit and kaboodle into a slideshow just as quickly as their tiny mouse-clicky hands could go, the end.

POPSEconomic Common Cents?
Grasping the whole kit and kaboodle is sort of like a small fish trying to swallow a whale. One idea from his smoothly written economic article is how some rules have to be changed. One big bank failed because it's credit rating went down --but this caused a chain reaction of selling of its stock because the real large holders of stocks, Money Market Funds and Pension Funds have rules about what stocks they can hold...only stocks with certain good credit ratings. Or rules that say stocks must be sold if they become cheaper than $5.00 a share. Maybe the whole idea of speculating in the collapse of a stock's price is a bad idea; or computer programmed trading that can send shares down just because the computer program spots a .10-cent profit. Ten cents on a million shares adds up and not bad for one day's work. If you don't care about the survival of the company. For what it's worht, all the 'buzzwords,' and 'linguistic derivatives' are here. Some more ethereal than ot

POPSMy Point Exactly; Amazon Gets No Love Whilst reading the posts of CenterNetworks I came across this little diddy by Matt Harwood talking about media companies investing in web applications/services. His point was that these types of buyouts are needed as there are only a few large Internet properties that "do" this sort of thing. My previous post on Amazon and how nobody mentions them when talking about "serious online' players is distinctly demonstrated in Mat''s article below as he lists ... well I'll let you read it. I'm not picking on Matt, and his point is very valid. I think we all applaud investment in online business's by every industry. In fact that's pretty much what I do for a living now ;)

POPSBest Web LittleCo of 2006--and Most Promising for 2007 from Read/WriteWeb: "It was a very hard decision this year, for a few reasons. Firstly a number of the frontrunners for Best LittleCo ended up being acquired by the end of the year! This is probably the nature of the beast - if you're a successful Web LittleCo, then you'll attract the attention of BigCo suiters. This is exactly what happened to our 2004 picks, Ludicorp (creator of Flickr) and del.icio.us - both of which were snapped up by Yahoo in 2005. Having said that, 2005 LittleCo winner 37Signals is still independent and doing its own thing." from me: Note how comments reflect the popularity of web apps. And note that comments regarding ClipMarks are creating a good impression--and rightly so!
