POPSVirgin Girls Raped Before Execution in Iran At first glance, one may think that it is the religion, Islam, that forbids the execution of virgins, but this is not so. Islam has no problem executing virgins no matter how young they are; after all if one can marry a 9 year old then certainly one should be able to execute a 9 year old. The actual problem is that virgins are promised a place in Paradise; and this is precisely what repulses the Imams in Iran. To prevent these young criminals, some as young as 9 years old, from entering Paradise, they passed a law forbidding the execution of virgins and to make sure they went to Hell, these Islamic old farts also mandated that virgins be raped married on the night before their execution to prevent their arrival in Paradise. As for the rape of female prisoners, Islam not only allows but encourages the rape of prisoners-of-war, slaves, enemies of the Islamic state as well as civil prisoners, male or female

POPSProtests Resume In Iran With The Government-Backed Quds Day Ceremony
11.57am: At least 10 protesters have been arrested, according to Reuters. "Supporters of Ahmadinejad are beating supporters of Mousavi near the Vali-ye Asr street. At least two protesters were injured," it quoted a witness as saying. 12.02pm: Al Jazeera's Alireza Ronaghi, reporting from Tehran, said the security forces were out in force, attempting to keep opposition demonstrators away from Tehran University where Ahmadinejad was speaking earlier. "I didn't expect the protests to be as big," he said Another video appears to confirm that thousands have been involved in the protests today. It also seems to show attempts to prevent filming taking place. 12.57pm: NBC has released more of its interview with Ahmadinejad. In the latest segment, he defended the detention of three Americans, who have been held for more than seven weeks. They "trampled the law, and in accordance with the laws, they need to be punished," he said. The full interview will be broadcast on Sunday.

POPSAmerican Right-Wing a Bit Confused? This story was picked out of the International edition of the Jerusalem Post. It was spray panted and not burned - as per usual with folks in Georgia who used to use burning crosses. I guess they are not really that confused - the KKK always did have more in common with nazi's than anyone else. The most recent trend among righties is to use nazi language to attack those they think are marxists and reverse racists. I take it back - they are still confusing. One easy thing to understand is that they are hateful and driven by fear and hate of what they see in the mirror in the morning.

POPSIranians Rape Virgin Girls Before Executing Them
And they would always fight back, so we would have to put sleeping pills in their food. By morning the girls would have an empty expression; it seemed like they were ready or wanted to die. "I remember hearing them cry and scream after was over," he said. "I will never forget how this one girl clawed at her own face and neck with her finger nails afterwards. She had deep scratches all over her." Apparently, this was known. From a book review in 2002: It remains to be said that the fate of women in the prisons of the Iranian Islamic Revolution is worse than the fate of men. It is not necessarily because women are less resistant and less tolerant to torture, but because women are considered from the theological perspective of the Iranian regime to be an element of seduction, and their bodies a place of evil and impurity. The torture of a woman's body may take the form of rape. Despite the necessity of secrecy that imposes itself in these cases . . .

POPSPalestinian Extremists are Out Beating Iranians in the Streets… Another protester, who spoke as he carried a kitchen knife in one hand and a stone in the other, also cited the presence of Hamas in Teheran. On Monday, he said, "my brother had his ribs beaten in by those Palestinian animals. Taking our people's money is not enough, they are thirsty for our blood too." It was ironic, this man said, that the victorious Ahmadinejad "tells us to pray for the young Palestinians, suffering at the hands of Israel." His hope, he added, was that Israel would "come to its senses" and ruthlessly deal with the Palestinians. When asked if these militia fighters could have been mistaken for Lebanese Shi'ites, sent by Hizbullah, he rejected the idea. "Ask anyone, they will tell you the same thing. They are out beating Iranians in the streets… The more we gave this arrogant race, the more they want… we will not let them push us around in our own country." http://www.weaselzippers.net/blog/

POPS Obama's "interference" in Israeli politics Cont.... "Today’s article from The Jerusalem Post notes that Kadima officials are worried that a perception by Israelis of undue interference from Obama -- whether the perception is justified or not -- will strengthen Netanyahu’s government due to resentment by Israeli voters. We might want to remember that lesson when it comes to Palestinians specifically and other countries generally: citizens in other countries tend not to like it when we try to dictate to them who should govern them and who shouldn't, and the attempt often emboldens support for the very people we oppose."

POPSUS Media Silent as Israeli Rushes Cockpit on US Flight There is a virtual media blackout on this event, which if a Muslim had done would have been loaded with speculation, suspicion of terrorism, details on the identify of the man and other details absolutely missing from these two news articles, the Jerusalem Post and Reuters UK. Is it because the man is an Israeli that there is a quick dismissal of terrorism (in both articles) and absolutely no information about the man or even detail of what he was doing? All we get here is either "unruly" or "rowdy"--but he rushed the cockpit doors! Why? This story smells of being managed and deliberately played down. Why could Logan Airport "not confirm" the event? Why the great hush? We need to know more. Note that with all the talk of "air security" on "international flights", yet this one from New York to Israel (highest risk) apparently had no US Air Marshalls, and passengers subdued the man whom the media refuses to identify.

POPSHistorical: "Robert Kennedy and Israel" "These articles by Robert F. Kennedy were published in the Boston Post after his March 1948 visit to the Middle East. He departed Palestine prior to Israel’s declaration of independence on May 14 and Ben-Gurion’s announcement of the name of the new country. RFK, therefore, does not refer to “Israel” or to “Israelis.” We believe this is the only Internet and digital posting of the Kennedy articles, therefore we present them in full. The Kennedy Library at Harvard University cites the articles on its webpage, but has not posted them. Presumably scholars can view them there. The Boston Post ceased operation in 1956. "

POPSGlobal Post - For Profit Journalism From the New York Times: Passport subscribers, who pay as much as $199 a year, can suggest article ideas. “If you are a member, you have a voice at the editorial meeting,” although the site will decide which stories to pursue, said Charles Sennott, a GlobalPost founder and its executive editor. He said Passport is meant to “create a feeling of community” for subscribers who might otherwise see newsrooms as “impenetrable and fortresslike.” GlobalPost correspondents, who include the former Washington Post writer Caryle Murphy in Saudi Arabia and a Time magazine correspondent turned novelist, Matt Beynon Rees, in Jerusalem, are paid extra for Passport work. Their basic compensation is $1,000 a month for four articles, plus shares in the venture. The site had 500 applicants for the jobs, Mr. Sennott said.

POPSWINEP Targets Iran: Neoliberals at Work for Israel in Washington
The neocons have a cousin on the left of close relation. The top of the clip is the JPost story you likely saw on Drudge. The lower clip is the profile on WINEP, mentioned by JPost's article, worth reading in its entirety. So here we have a Jerusalem Post story about Israel considering military action against Iran, and supporting it all from a "Washington" (but Israeli) think tank for justification. Meet the neo-liberals, the counterparts of the neoconservatives, both tied to the Israeli Lobby network . American political structure is infiltrated on both right and left by various think tanks to support wars or conflicts for the "Greater Israel" Agenda. The Israeli Lobby is like an Octopus with tentacles everywhere in Washington (and press) which the RightWeb clip describes in more detail. In contrast to the obviously partisan character of AIPAC, WINEP has projected itself, at least until the administration of George W. Bush, as an objective institute. [/quot

POPSYankee Goes Home. Rejected, disillusioned with the Zionist state. Over the summer yet another client treated me in typical Israeli fashion that would be considered grossly unprofessional in an advanced nation. I had to spend almost NIS 1,000 for a lawyer to get the "professional" to pay what he should have paid without question. Another client, with whom I had good working relations, couldn't get me paid. Even though we signed a net 30-day payment agreement, her accounts payable department consistently decided I should only be paid net 90 days and, as of this writing, I haven't been paid my final invoice in close to six months. That shouldn't have to happen. As Jerusalem Post articles have mentioned, Israel suffers from a brain drain. Educated Israelis are being frightened away from hi-tech. If you can't even keep people here, shouldn't you be that much happier when people freely chose to come? ... JPost

POPSHamas threw 'medicine grenades' at IDF No surprise. When the UN launches attacks, how bad must it be?!! In modern history I have seen nothing that rivals this group or it's efforts. Will the rest of the world continue to stand by and fail to condemn them just for the sake of NOT appearing to be supportive of Israel's policies??
