It brings up an interesting point that makes me wonder if we've escaped the "Me Decade" of the 80s - that both the loud talkers and the jammers think they are in the right. (Similar to the crosswalk rule in Boston - you hate having to stop for pedestrians as a driver, but you hate when cars don't stop as a walker.) As handy gadgets frequently bring our personal lives into the public sphere, it's interesting to see the interpersonal disconnect and selfishness that springs up with it.
