POPSHow 3 pastors were beheaded: eyewitness Religion of "peace" beheading Christians. Guess libs don't care about this. It's just the 70 year-old grannies in town hall meetings that are "evil" and "hateful" Sick. Just for once I'd like to see a liberal grow a set instead of whining about Christians who get beheaded. So do liberals watch 24 and think Jack Bauer is the bad guy?

POPSNewt Gingrich Thinks Americans Should Be Afraid....Booga Booga!
Maybe someone ought to mention to Cheney and Gingrich that their fear for the safety of their children and grandchildren is misplaced. They are far more likely to die of heart disease (something with which I think both men have some experience) than of a terrorist attack. Maybe living in mortal fear of Big Macs and french fries is a slightly more logical neurosis. REP. GINGRICH: Let me just say, I think people should be afraid. I think the lesson of 1993, the first time they bombed the World Trade Center, was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of Khobar Towers, where American servicemen were killed in Saudi Arabia, was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of the two embassy bombings in east Africa was fear is probably appropriate. I think the lesson of the Cole being bombed in Yemen was fear is probably appropriate. I'll tell you, if you aren't a little bit afraid after 9/11 and 3,100 Americans killed inside the United States by an effort, if you weren'

POPS Spoiler Alerts! "24" Other questions emerged on the medical front. Jack Bauer is having memory lapses and soon enough will be hallucinating as the weaponized Mad Cow he inhaled eats his brain (Maybe as a cure he could inhale a weaponized Mad Horse?). Yet next week the FBI has him running around brandishing a gun and battling baddies. Golly, I hope Jack doesn't hallucinate himself into taking out half the FBI. This will all come together in a rollicking finale in late May. My Bold Prediction for a blockbuster finish - Jack's brain will be saved for next season by the timely intervention of Dr. House, called down from New Jersey (and away from his 8 PM Monday night time slot) just to treat Jack in the final episode. That is what we call entertainment synergy! And it might be the ony thing that could rekindle my interest in "House". Nahhh...

POPSObama Ignores Jack Bauer's Warning At His Peril! Jack Bauer Does Not Go Around Apologizing for America Or bowing to Saudi Kings, or acting all Euro-smart while referring to the “Austrian language.” But here we are, spending a quiet hour where the Mrs. Madame President and her horrible daughter characters make us more comfortable than the actual world, with it’s despots and missiles and U.N. B.S. Dammit. Dammit there isn’t time!

POPS‘24’ Reflects Changing Times With Excellent Season-Seven Premiere But, and maybe this is what “24” fans really want to hear, Jack is always going to be Jack. He will go to whatever ends necessary to save his country and there are several moments in the morning of the seventh season where he’s screaming, choking, and getting ready to kill to get the job done. In fact, an audience could definitely take from “8:00am-12:00pm” that the creators of “24” are condoning torture when an agent like Jack Bauer thinks its necessary. Case in point - When someone with necessary information says “I have rights” in one episode, the agent questioning him responds with “I suggest you use your last breath wisely.”

POPSReview: Jack Bauer and '24' return in action-packed "Redemption" A snarkie article but I'm watching it. It's actually what we're reading in the news about the kidnapping of children and turning them into terrorists. Considering the video clipped here today about the 3 1/2 yr old girl *programed* to kill Jews...this is the stuff our world refuses to see. We live in such a bubble...it's creepy.
