Possibly there is some feature missing in the Nokia OS that makes it hard? Or is it just iPhones are cool, but a tiny market?

POPSJo Public is making money designing apps. Here's a squeaky clean iphone app that took Kostas Eleftheriou a week to make and so far has netted him 40K. It really doesn't do anything but one cool effect. New java based userfriendly WYSWYG software is currently in development that can pare that one week timeframe into 1 day. POPSiPhone hackery with SMS!! This is a pretty serious security hole in the iPhone OS. The article also describes similar security flaws in the Google Android and Windows ME phones, so it's not exclusively an Apple oversight. At the time of the writing, Apple had not responded yet -- but with increased exposure, I'll bet an OS updated is forthcoming.
