Via ModernConservative, Carney-Nunes is senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a schoolmate of President Obama.” I have e-mailed Carney-Nunes for comment as well. The Obama school song video that she taped shows her book featured on an easel next to the children hailing Dear Leader . She promotes her book as a tool that “allows children to see themselves through the inspirational story of President Obama growing up as an ordinary child asking, Who will change the world? Ultimately, he realizes that he will.” She has spread this creepy cult message to schoolchildren across the country.

POPSHi! wanted desparately to clip these, but.. since yesterday, I am unable to clip anything properly at my end of the CM. A visit to the site and enjoy these sites is a must. I always read, enjoy, think of CM friends and clip... in that order :) After investing a couple of hours on reading/felt happy on these, I just couldn't clip any of them. Sorry on that score! Quite a few of these, we all have read already somewhere...but all of them together is really nice...

Were parents notified that their children would be participating in this activity prior to the lesson? Was Ms. Carney-Nunes invited to the school to teach the children the song and about her book, “I am Barack Obama?” Was the principal aware of this event and taping? POPS Change WH withdraws call for students to 'help' Obama President Obama's plan to inspire the nation's schoolchildren with a video address next week erupted into controversy Wednesday, forcing the White House to pull out its eraser and rewrite a government recommendation that teachers nationwide assign students a paper on how to "help the president." White House aides said the language was an honest misunderstanding in what was supposed to be a inspirational, pro-education message to America's youths. Among the activities the government initially suggested for prekindergarten to sixth-grade students: that they " write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president."
