Chicago Mayor Daley Blames Fort Hood On America’s Love Of Guns!
merrie
by merrie  11-10-2009    4
Taking Mayor Daley at face value for a moment, is he seriously arguing for increased gun control on a military base? If there had been more guns around, this ticking Jihad bomb could have been put down a lot faster than he was. With no pogrom backlash after 9/11, no pogrom backlash after Bali, no pogrom backlash after Madrid, no pogrom backlash after London, no pogrom backlash after Mumbai, no backlash after countless other Jihad attacks, why would there be any reason to believe the reaction would be any different in this case?

Tim McGirk, friend to the Taliban and promotor of the 'secondary PTSD' defense for the murderer Hasa
Antara
by Antara  11-9-2009    1
Noah Pollak at Commentary has discovered that Mr. McGirk has a rather interesting history: This shouldn’t be surprising coming from Tim McGirk. He went to Afghanistan after 9/11, had Thanksgiving with the Taliban, and wrote a long piece for National Geographic about what a great time he had and how we’re all just human beings doing our thing on this big blue marble, so let’s not judge. Then he went to Iraq and singlehandedly created the Haditha Massacre hoax. Then he went to Jerusalem and spent a few years slandering Israel. Now he’s trafficking in pop psychology on behalf of a likely domestic jihadist. It’s been quite a career.

Wife and son bare secrets of terror kingpin (married to a monster). Najwa says Americans were kind and friendly, but the country was not to her conservative tastes. Pets met horrible ends. A monkey the children loved was run over by one of Osama's men. She watched the television in horror as the Twin Towers fell, claiming the lives of 2,991 people. Najwa says she has not spoken to Osama since the attacks. And this is the kind of animal species, the pals of Obama that exist at Gitmo, yet liberals defend this trash. Incredible. Just revolting.

Oh, he's not a Christian? My mistake. "It beggars belief that a person of average intelligence who has devoted themselves to the study of Islam over some years would fail to recognise the nature of the material,'' she said. "The dissemination of extremist activity, connected or unconnected with a terrorist plot, is caught by the government's (anti-terror) scheme ... (because such material) is capable and is shown to foment terrorist activity.'' Khazaal was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with a non-parole period of nine years. With time already served, he will be eligible for release after August 31, 2017.

Not Liked Enough

by merrie  9-14-2009    1
In fairness to Obama, though, it’s a pretty lame message from the cave-dweller. Despite the recent bombings in Iraq, violence is still significantly down, Iraq is a functioning democracy, the security forces are increasingly capable, and the pullout is on track … thank you, George Bush. If Osama wants to needle Obama and show he’s really hip and with it, he’ll poke him over the Afghanistan thing. A little timely al Qaeda crowing is exactly what the surrender enthusiasts in Washington DC need right now to put them in full retreat. You know, “How do you like your good war now, infidels? Run, it’s what you do best!” Something like that. Remember when he had his No. 2 admonish the Dems for failing to surrender fast enough in Iraq, and they redoubled their efforts? Now that Bush is out of the way, it’s a great opportunity for Osama to revive his favorite old theme from back in the day. Americans have no stomach for a fight, and will bolt if you give them a bloody nose.

A new Vietnam quagmire?
foxyarse
by foxyarse  9-12-2009
Today, Washington’s hallucinations rival those during the Bay of Pigs fiasco—when U.S.-backed Cuban exiles were allowed to fend for themselves on the beach during their failed invasion, because President John F. Kennedy denied them the use of their own and U.S. air cover in order to keep U.S. involvement a secret. No matter that everyone in the hemisphere already knew the U.S. was training the invasion force in Central America, because the New York Times had done several stories on it. Not only is the U.S. occupation force in Afghanistan incensing Afghans, it is fueling the resurgence of the Taliban there and aggravating the rise of Islamist militancy in nuclear-armed Pakistan. In both cases, the perceived meddling of “infidels” on Muslim soil is stoking resistance.

UN declare Afghan elections non-corrupt

In response to these leaking accusations by Aljazeera Int. a UN spokesman, Yousaffa Ghadaffi Bin Laden (distant relation of the real one, by the way!) told their reporters: "We know that the Afghani elections are not f*****g corrupt, Infidels!" "How can they be corrupt, because there is no f*****g election, 99% of Afghanis can't even write a X on the ballot slips let alone know what the f**k an election is!" "No Ladies and gentlemen this is just a fata morgana, an excuse to ease the tensions in the US/UK." "Murder a couple of GI's and Brit soldiers, bomb the shit out of the Taliban and maintain the Status quo so global weapon's dealers can help get the world economy back on the rails!" The present Afghani president (a total nutter by the way!) dared to exit his Kabul palace, 50 metres from the door, rallied his supporters (all three of them!) in front of the worlds press and praised Obama from Allah, promised him a camel and a chopped off pickled Taliban head for his eno

Legless Christians Stand! It's a Miracle!

I appears that a large number of Christians still advocate the use of torture. How are we to explain this seemingly contradictory stance? The answer that immediately comes to mind is that Christians have not thought this out. Does this not go counter to Christian morality? Are Christians being duped? At first glance it seems that they are.

Welcome To Holder at War ~ by Andrew McCarthy
merrie
by merrie  4-5-2009    1
It was enacted because paramilitary courses factored into all those terrorist attacks from the 1990s that “we as a nation” missed the significance of. Holder hasn’t explained how turning trained jihadists loose on the infidels that they were training to kill is consistent with his new war mentality (a war in which, at his direction, we no longer call enemy combatants “enemy combatants”). Nor is it clear how this comports with his “responsibility . . . for the safety of this nation” and his obligation to enforce U.S. statutes. When he is not bravely lecturing Americans about their cowardice on race, our attorney general is running roughshod over his Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) — and shamefully politicizing his Solicitor General’s Office — in order to uphold patently unconstitutional legislation, the D.C. Voting Rights Act, that hasn’t even been enacted yet.

Six Questions for Juan Cole, Author of Engaging the Muslim World
ratilfar
by ratilfar  3-12-2009    4
In the Cold War, the U.S. blithely overthrew democratically elected governments in Syria and Iran to ensure Western European access to inexpensive petroleum, considered by elites in Washington, D.C., to be key to free market economic growth and to defeating the Communist bloc. Iran in particular never forgave the United States for this heavy-handed intervention. Going forward, the temptation to conduct further oil wars will be severe. Once the world economy recovers, demand will spiral up, and the discovery of new fields is unlikely to keep pace with that new demand, especially that of China, India, and other rising Asian powers with large populations.

Geert Wilders: Islam is the Trojan Horse in Europe
merrie
by merrie  2-23-2009
Geert Wilders speaks to the Dutch Parliament last September Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites to violence. I remind the House that the distribution of such texts is unlawful according to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition, the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book which is completely against our legal order and our democratic institutions. In this light, it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be banned for the defence and reinforcement of our civilisation and our constitutional state. I shall propose a second-reading motion to that effect. Madam Speaker, there is no such thing as “moderate Islam”. As Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan said the other day, and I quote, “There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it”. israpundit.com

Iran Urges Assassinations Worldwide
merrie
by merrie  1-9-2009    1
In the editorial, Shariatmadari recounted a story from a 13 year old teenager who had gone to the front lines during the Iran-Iraq war with the permission of the mullahs’ current Supreme Leader, Ali Khamanei, and was later killed. Shariatmadari compared him and other teenagers who were sent to mine fields by the regime, to “Ghassem,” a young man who fought alongside the revered Shiite Imam Hussein in 680 and died. Today, this war is in Gaza. As the Imam used to say, with the revitalization of true Islam of Prophet Muhammad, the Great Satan roared and issued a call to all the other big and small devils. … Now that the war in Gaza is the point of conflict for all of Islam against all infidels, why should the act of confronting the Zionists only be limited to the borders of occupied Palestine? Are the people of Gaza not representing the entire Muslim world in their fight with the Zionists?

Murdered In The Name Of Islam — “Allahu Akbar”
merrie

atrocity, Jews had been attacked, tortured, and killed produced from the New York Times a serene befuddlement: “It is not known if the Jewish center was strategically chosen, or if it was an accidental hostage scene.” Hmm. Greater Bombay forms one of the world’s five biggest cities. It has a population of nearly 20 million. But only one Jewish center, located in a building that gives no external clue as to the bounty waiting therein. An “accidental hostage scene” that one of the “practitioners” just happened to stumble upon? “I must be the luckiest jihadist in town. What are the odds?” New Age guru Deepak Chopra laid all the blame on American foreign policy for “going after the wrong people” and inflaming moderates, and “that inflammation then gets organized and appears as this disaster in Bombay.” Really? The inflammation just “appears”? Like a bad pimple? The “fairer” we get to the, ah, inflamed militant practitioners, the unfairer we get to everyone else.

T. Jefferson: religious freedom is for "Jews, Gentiles, Christians, Mahometans, Hindoos, & infidels"
Lexica
by Lexica  11-26-2008    7
If you want to know whether the Founding Fathers intended this to be a "Christian nation", all you have to do is look at their own words. These are from Thomas Jefferson's autobiography. Also, remember that in 1797 the Treaty of Tripoli stated that "the Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion".
