POPSOne of The Biggest Bait-And-Switch Acts in History I'm thinking it's time to pronounce Obama and his agenda precisely what they are - socialist and looking to bring down the last great remaining free capitalist system in the world so as to bring it in line with too much else of a statist world. What else can one call it with any degree of honesty? Certainly liberal no longer serves. The Left abandoned classic liberalism a decade ago. And the New Left has only gotten worse. It's time to draw the battle lines more clearly, start speaking of what freedom, capitalism, individualism and self-determinism actually are and explain to people how they won't be much of anything in some new Obama-designed state. It's time to forget about compromise and begin rejecting Obama and his grand plans completely as he and they deserve for being un-American in the most important meanings of the word. Obama sold his healthcare proposal as a way to reduce costs and help the economy. But, Pawlenty says,

POPSU.S. Fails To Make Top 10 Quality of Life Index Sure, it's easy to claim a higher quality of life when you live in a place like France, where you get 30 days of paid vacation every year. Never mind that their productivity numbers nearly equal ours. Where's the index for rugged individualism and personal responsibility? How good do ya think them Frenchies would do on that, huh? They just don't have the stuff to accept a shorter life expectancy and crappy health care. (The lifespan for African-Americans in the former French city of New Orleans is about the same as that of people living in North Korea.) But, hey, they're not who we mean when we talk about Americans, anyway. I don't want your damn pinko health care. And keep your hands off my gun. Oh, and, U.S. outta the U.N., dammit!

POPSFact: Nearly All of Hitlers Beliefs Placed Him On the Far Right[
Many conservatives accuse Hitler of being a leftist, on the grounds that his party was named "National Socialist." But socialism requires worker ownership and control of the means of production. In Nazi Germany, private capitalist individuals owned the means of production, and they in turn were frequently controlled by the Nazi party and state. True socialism does not advocate such economic dictatorship -- it can only be democratic. Hitler's other political beliefs place him almost always on the far right. He advocated racism over racial tolerance, eugenics over freedom of reproduction, merit over equality, competition over cooperation, power politics and militarism over pacifism, dictatorship over democracy, capitalism over Marxism, realism over idealism, nationalism over internationalism, exclusiveness over inclusiveness, common sense over theory or science, pragmatism over principle, and even held friendly relations with the Church, even though he was an atheist.

POPSIs Opposing or Parodying Obama as a Socialist "Racist"?
The superficial seem to claim that is the case, and in fact that is how many promoted him to be President, as if the White House needed an Affirmative Action policy to be white-washed in political-correctness and the most superficial of "change"--one of race and color (while Big Government and Wars for "democracy" are continued). Opposition was frequently decried as "racism". Boaz makes a great defense here, with examples in the press, even pointing toward "classical liberalism" to dispel the myth of the charge. Then he closes his argument thus: And it is not good for democracy to try to counter every opposing argument with such a blood libel. The good news for advocates of limited government is that our opponents are displaying a striking lack of confidence in the actual arguments for their proposals. If they thought they could win a debate on nationalizing health care, or running trillion-dollar deficits, they wouldn’t need to reach for such smears.

POPSIndividualistic Christianity leads to justifying feel-good behaviors. How then can we attack others who seek what feels good? Or can we suggest & live out that Jesus feels best?

POPSWhy you aren’t nearly as unique as you think? "Since 1994, photographer Ari Versluis and profiler Ellie Uyttenbroek have been trekking the globe together, recording Exactitudes — “exact attitudes” captu(red) in people’s peculiar dress code as an attempt to differentiate themselves from others or identify with a group."

POPS Dance of the Straw-men Consider the rhetorical straw-men that he marshals in speech after speech. Always divisive, always Alinsky-like, always agitating, the masterful community organizer can't help himself. On Health Care (03-05-2009): "...today, there are those who say On Taxes (09-26-2008): "...we all would love to lower taxes on everybody. But here's the problem: If we are giving them to oil companies, then that means that there are those who are not going to be getting them..." On Abortion : (09-01-2008) "...Choice is about how we lead our lives. It’s about our families and about our communities. It’s about our daughters and whether they’re going to have the same opportunities as our sons. There are those who want us to believe otherwise..." I'll be frank. I'm sick of his use of Alinsky's tactics. Always dividing, always creating straw-men, always creating scapegoats. Never once appreciating the wonder of individualism, of liberty, of our founders.

POPSMarriage i want to quote from a book I am reading, far detached from news or socilogical studies. " You must grow and change beyond your current ideas that offer only one version of existence" Earth; pleiadian keys to the Livingg Library. This message is attuned to the Individualistic stance of a previous clip. We are different and have different needs. There is a wave of mind control that is attempting to curtail our right and desire to exprress our individualism. This comes from the parties that want just one kind of marriage (the one defined by them), one kind of spirituality, one kind of American, one kind of love to prevail. I am so disgusted about this mind control issues coming from people with cerebral myopia ! Expand your ideas, your mind, read between the lines, analyze national and global trends and events. Specially, listen how politicians talk and always ask yourselves: What is behind that? Why do they want that? How will it work for them? How good

POPSIndividualism Right. we play to them. They all want us drink the same stuff, eat the same stuff and have the same look. Breed the same way, love the same way, dress the same way. is the dream for individualism too good to be true?

POPS The Party Of 'NO' We know the principles upon which this country was founded. The principles you Lefties are always dragging through the mud. Little things like individual liberty. And respecting the flag. And love of God and country. And respect for our fighting troops. And smaller, limited government. And a dedication to our international autonomy. And the belief in peace through strength. Trust, but verify. Rugged individualism and personal responsibility.

POPSFreedom without order... Some interesting thoughts... that I tend to agree with. Republicanism seems to rejoice in the abstract: they value "ideas" above their practical implication. While idealism is fine: it must be leavened with pragmatism.

POPSCapitalism is Not Your Friend <<<Unregulated, gluttonous capitalism didn't just "appear" when Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers started to cry "Uncle!". The signs were there long before that. This time when we finally realize that anything too big to fail should be nationalized, when we understand that government regulation should be mandatory when dealing with predators, let's not take a giant step backwards and slide back into "free enterprise capitalism", giving the reigns of financial power back to the people that only care about themselves.>>>

POPSI Miss The Oratory Nonetheless Obama's challenge now is to create inspiration from the work of governing itself, to do with the ideas of "duties to ourselves, our nation and the world" what Ronald Reagan did with boundless hope and individualism. In his warning of "a sapping of confidence across our land," Obama was surely aware that he echoed Jimmy Carter's "crisis of confidence," in his incorrectly named "Malaise Speech": "The erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of America."
