Mike Pence (R-Ind.) will lead a 12-hour online town hall to discuss health care. POPSReport: Dozens in Congress Under Ethics Scrutiny The inquiry involves lawmakers who steered appropriations to clients of a now-defunct lobbying firm and received campaign contributions from the firm and its clients. The names included three lawmakers previously identified in the inquiry: the chairman of the defense subcommittee, Murtha; and Reps. Peter Visclosky, D-Ind., and James Moran, D-Va. The Post said others whose names were in the report included Reps. Norm Dicks, D-Wash., Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, C.W. Bill Young, R-Fla., and Todd Tiahrt, R-Kan. The committee, however, has not announced an investigation of any of these lawmakers. A committee statement said its security was breached through "peer to peer file sharing software" by a junior employee who was working from home. The staff member was fired. The committee said it is investigating whether Rep. Maxine Waters used her influence to help a bank in which her husband owned stock, and whether the couple benefited as a result.

POPSConstitution? Treaties? Sovereignty? The lamenting over the obstacle that is the Constitution goes on with Liberals and World-Order phony Conservatives (read: today's Republicans) alike. Puppet cable news pundits want to imprint an image of Independents as moderates - in the "middle" of either "fringe". It depends, doesn't it? Higher elites of both persuasions strive to find a way to topple the Constitution, maybe to slightly varying goals, while the Independents really want to maintain sovereignty and the Constitution. Doesn't that put Ind.'s on the Right, with Rep.'s & Dem.'s on the Left? Criticisms against Obama policies are met by Bush criticisms. Enough. That's the wrong paradigm. Isn't it ? Aren't they both the puppets for those of NO county? Of NO allegiance but to a World Gov.? Or am I all wet, here?

Seven years ago this month, the then-freshman Wilson appeared on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” with five-term Congressman Bob Filner (D-Calif.) to discuss whether to go to war in Iraq, action that Filner opposed but Wilson supported. In the course of the discussion, Filner noted that the U.S. supplied weapons to Saddam Hussein’s regime during the Iran-Iraq War — a fact revealed by the investigation into the Iran-Contra Affair, which discovered the Reagan administration secretly sold weapons to Iran, then under an arms embargo, to win support for freeing U.S. hostages in Lebanon and to fund the Nicaraguan contras, a counterrevolutionary rebel force that was fighting the country’s government.

POPSActual Tea Party Quotes So one of them is blaming Obama for two wars that started under Bush and a law that was both passed and renewed under Bush. Then we have a couple who claims that Democrats everywhere are "demonizing" the troops. Now, there may well be fringe activists within the Democratic Party who do such things, but Democratic politicians? Especially when a Democratic president wants to commit more troops to one of the wars? The fact that a piece like this, which seems to be trying hard to be favorable to the Tea Party goers, couldn't find more coherent people to quote gives me real pause.

Wake up, or enjoy systematic poverty throughout our society. Without jobs for the masses, the "luckY" or "smart" or "educated" will have to work twice as hard to pay for the millions that will never be able to support their families again. Plus additional government interference that is going to make everything too expensive for the majority. No magic money tree, small business can't take any more expenses and everything coming from Washington is going to make this worse, not better. China is very happy with our current government plans. POPSUS Health Care Will Force Diet Foods Republicans are discovering just how effective an opposition party can be in Washington. Their strategy is simply to aggressively and relentlessly oppose the liberal agenda of the president and the Democratic Congress. That's putting it mildly. They are whipping up large portions of the population with hate and fear and figure if they can keep it up they will win some election victories in 2010. I recommend we stay focused on defeating Republicans again in 2010 and drive their party into extinction. The same warmongering, racism and politics of destruction they used for the last eight nightmare years they now continue with, even on health care.
