POPSTrying to Add Photos In Site Builder
User Observation: When I try to add a photo in the Home Pg Header, it won't add it. Later, in a different page, I got an error message saying my photos couldn't have a file name with a space in them. But on the Home Page, I received no message. Instead, it just wouldn't add the image. Big negative - this requires me to rename all of the photos I wanted to include in my mobi site. Then once I tried to upload it, it only grabbed the upper left sliver of the photo. The tool also did not show me the crop tool or anything else. The photo swamped the working window, so my only option was to close the photo insert window. When I did, it showed that the photo had not been inserted into the site as requested. It now appears that I have to resize all my photos first as well, but I also can't tell to what dimensions. NOTE TO GOTAMOBI: Image function seems to work a bit inconsistently and isn't as user-friendly as I would have hoped. Photos require more pre-prep outside the function of the tool.

POPS7 Free Web-based Alternatives to Photoshop don't forget Google’s Picasa 2 ..very easy to use and though limited it does do some quick and easy cropping, black and white from color, soft focus, slide shows, red-eye removal. It's fast and easy for bulk editing a lot of photos… export (batch resize) all starred images at the end of a session to a folder and bulk upload them to Flickr. It’s not very good/intuitive for resizing photos to exact dimensions

POPSCrop Your Ex Out Of That Photo, Easy with FotoFlexer I mentioned Seam Carving before, a "smart" way for software to resize a photo without compromising the composition of the original photo. Now comes FotoFlexer, an online tool that offers this functionality right now. Check out the demo on the link above - impressive stuff! Also, you will want to take a look at Rszr, which offers a similar cropping tool . Man, I love the internet!

POPS"Content-aware" image resizing: get images the size you want without losing detail A very sophisticated Flash application that uses a new algorithm called "seam carving" to figure out which areas of your image have the least detail and squeezes them out first. It's hard to describe, and it doesn't work perfectly, but it's kind of amazing. Try it in IE. Be patient -- it runs very slowly and jerkily sometimes, but it does produce some remarkable results.
