POPSAn Open Letter to Michael Mann, Disgraced Victim of Climategate If you possessed but a modicum of honesty, you would simply admit your crimes. Oh -- are you familiar with Archimedes? When ice melts, water levels actually fall. It has to do with displacement and the density of ice versus water. Claiming that sea levels will rise because glaciers melt is either ignorant or fraudulent. Can you pass that along to your buddy-slash-current Science Czar John "Mass Sterilization" Holdren? He's actually been wrong about, well, pretty much everything over the years. Maybe you could help him out. Mr. Mann, the best thing you could do would be to come clean and seek forgiveness. Such an act would be both humbling and liberating. You should try it. It's an option that's always available. And it's never too late to free yourself. Plus, their sole understanding of military conflicts can be summed up thusly: “Vietnam was bad. This war bad, so this war Vietnam.” This is why if we were a more serious people, we would put liberals in crates, chain the crates closed, and throw the crates into the sea so the liberals could air their grievances to the U.N. which we also threw into the sea.

POPSThe impact of jealousy on facebook and twitter This is such an honest, introspective and important comment about the impact of social media. Sure, social media is fun and cool and all that, but there is no doubt that the typical offline dynamics of envy, jealousy, competition, humility and conceit all play a serious roll in our web relations as well. As i read this post, i was moved by how honest this person was able to be (with themselves and the public). I have, at times, experienced similar feelings and i'm sure many other people have as well.

POPSPresident Obama and His ‘Outstanding’ Humility You mock my teleprompter, and uh, as I’ve always said, I use it to appear more humble. The “uh’s” and tennis-match-observer head motions have always been my plan. When it breaks, during a speech, I appear humble by bumbling my sentences. This is all pre-planned. In fact, right now the teleprompter is scrolling at an unruly rate, so uh, I have to fake it. Now, look " I know you Americans, who uh, understand history seem to think socialism is a failed idea. I don’t know. History. And, we’re halfway through my term, or at least half-way through the first year of my regime " and I’ve managed to implement socialism, in new and exciting ways. And I encourage humility, especially in Americans who make more than minimum wage, because it takes humility to pay the kind of taxes I am planning for you. Trust me, this hurts me more than it hurts you. That’s an old Kenyan saying, one my Father taught me during the 5 hours I spent with him during my life.
