Prof. Adams says his research shows that most homophobes "demonstrate significant sexual arousal to homosexual erotic stimuli", suggesting that homophobia is a form of "latent homosexuality where persons are either unaware of or deny their homosexual urges". These findings have prompted the gay rights group OutRage! to write to a cross-section of 20 homophobic MPs challenging them to take Prof. Adams's test to counter suggestions that their anti-gay voting record might be evidence of repressed homosexuality. "We're inviting the MPs to get their honourable members tested", says Marina Cronin of OutRage! "Some doctors are getting us a plethysmograph and they're willing to help us administer the test". It then provides details on several speakers but zeroes in on Warith Deen Umar, the former head of the New York state prison chaplain program who lost his job after the Wall Street Journal exposed his pro-bin Ladin views in front-page story in February 2003. Umar appeared at ISNA on July 5 to promote a new book, Jews for Salaam: The Straight Path to Global Peace, in the context of a "Meet The Author" program. In the course of it, he attacked "unholy Jews" such as Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, two of President Obama's top aides, by name as part of a conspiracy "to control the world."

Why in the world would children be forced to endure the propaganda from one such as Elton John?? "tackling the issue in a sensitive way"? These babies couldn't care less!!! Can they not just be children? and not be *educated* and indoctrinated/introduced! to a life-style that is hurtful? "Bullying"...that's just a ruse and we all know it. Bullying has been around since time immoral and it hasn't always been about certain people; it's about power, dominance, and control. This makes me sick and want to shelter my little ones even more. POPSPrivilege and Oppression A thoughtful article about the notion of Christian privilege and using this to justify anti-gay prejudice. And before some get their pitchforks out, no, it doesn't apply to all Christians. But there is a sizable chunk of Christians who probably do hold these views.
