Why Socialists Pursue Socialism to the Ends of the Earth
merrie
by merrie  10-8-2009    3
. . . and offers the only internally consistent explanation for their historic obsession with divisive policy. From their early support of Hitler to their central role in the current financial crisis, the Left’s contribution to domestic and foreign policy at federal, state and local levels can only be described as wantonly destructive. Their takeover of schools and popular culture has been equally toxic. Their environmental radicalism has spawned the energy crisis, while offering no viable alternatives. It defies logic. But there is logic, a deadly logic, and in the '60’s, two radicals gave it a name: the Cloward-Piven Strategy. As explained in the prior article in this series, the goal was to create a groundswell of demands for public services to overwhelm government, create crisis and usher in a widespread call for fundamental economic reform at the federal level, with socialism the ultimate goal. Cloward and Piven focused on welfare, voting,

I just finished reading Mark Steyn's 'America Alone'. This article just adds to his argument that demographics are telling us exactly what kind of future we are facing. It ain't pretty.

Bible Out but Koran is In
Eaglewings
by Eaglewings  6-30-2009    2
Okay now that the KORAN is considered a teaching aid how about we distribute BIBLES to state leaders and into schools to TEACH the bible to end hostilities and misunderstanding concerning Jews and Christians? How far do you suppose that idea would go? And to think there was a time in our history where the BIBLE was actually taught in school.

Superstition Kills
AtlLiberal
by AtlLiberal  11-23-2008    4
I support State/Church separation. Yet that stance is one of the reasons that legislators are hampered in dealing with child deaths because parents, because of religious beliefs, refuse to seek medical help for treatable conditions in their children. My first reaction is to hell with them. Pass laws that force them to take proper care of their children. But doesn't that place me into the same sphere as the Evangelical who tries to pass laws to force prayer in public schools? Granted, no one dies from prayer. Except when that prayer is used in place of medical care for treatable conditions. Therein lies the rub.

Roddy and Avis MacLellan - Summerville, SC - Modeling and Music
onlinedesign
by onlinedesign  9-8-2008
The Model's Studio - "The Town of Summerville and Director/Chief Instructor Avis MacLellan, The Model’s Studio, recently celebrated the grand opening of the studio at 821-A W. Richardson Avenue in historic downtown Summerville." MacLellan Bagpipes: Even with a price tag starting at $1,100 and escalating from there depending on what a musician wants in a bagpipe, the customers MacLellan continues to gain through word-of-mouth and a hard-earned reputation for building exceptional instruments, don't seem to mind. Thanks! : 7/16/2008 "I own and play a set of MacLellan's bagpipes. They are, in my opinion, the finest there is. Eye candy with sound to match. Thanks for the article, it was very enjoyable. "

Sex Education History: Social Engineering
blueridge
by blueridge  3-13-2008    1
As Aaron Russo said about the feminist movement in interview with Alex Jones, where he said the Rockefellers had also helped start that in order to tax TWO working adults instead of one, and take over indoctrination of their children (in absentee via gov't schools), so the sex education program was a plan for social engineering, for population control into slavish obedience to government. The pretense of "emancipation", of both women and children, was designed for different purposes. This article is worth reading, and very sobering. Read just how radical the leaders of sex education were...advocating the farthest forms of deviancy from the common morals of the time, where families were largely intact.
