POPSIreland imposes new blasphemy law I'm reposting this far and wide. I wonder if they realize that this goes both ways. Now you'll have Xtians and Muslims and Buddhists and Catholics all being given a fine, because they all blaspheme each other! LOL Priceless!! All we have to do is get all atheists to shush up for just a little while, and watch the hilarity ensue! Then when they're all bankrupt from fines (and most likely jail time for not being able to pay those fines, eventually), THEN us atheists can rise up and call them ALL on being the biggest idiots to walk the Earth!

POPSPublic Option Dropped, Lefty Blog Hilarity Ensues!
So, in this difficult time for Democrats, a visit to the left side of the blogosphere was warranted. Equipping myself with a Haz-Mat suit (suitable for Biosafety Level 4 Hot Zones) and a laptop, I've returned from that mission horrified and shocked at what I've seen. The overwhelming public mistrust of socialized medicine be damned! We've got socialist principles to install, so get the hell out of the way! • jimfromthefoothills firmly states, "Remember, we are going to rebuild every school, bridge and road in the country. We will fix healthcare. We will restore the constitution, end illegal wars reduce emissions of greenhouse gasses." ......... • sandra adroitly observes, "Obama has succeeded in showing us that the corrupt corporations hold the power, the crazy screamers have succeeded, and democracy has failed us, big time." ......... If by "corrupt corporations", you mean the companies that pay billions in taxes and employ millions of American taxpayers

POPSThe Firm of Rush, Muddle, and Malign Sometimes it's hard to remember in the midst of this hilarity that the verbiage is all about setting up a humongous federal bureaucracy, staffed by members of some federal workers' union, spending trillions of our dollars as they "save" money, pretend to give us "options," and keep us healthy.

POPSDick Durbin (D-IL): It is Not in my DNA to Understand the Plight of Minorities "Setting aside the hilarity of Durbin’s self-lampooning here, maybe we ought to consider that Durbin is on to something. After all, Durbin himself was almost singlehandedly responsible for spiking the successful scholarship program that finally desegregated D.C. private schools. Furthermore, the last time a prominent Latino was was nominated for a prominent judicial spot, Durbin himself was at the center of the Democratic effort to spike that nominee specifically because he was Latino. So maybe Durbin was really on to something when he suggested that white males don’t have understanding for the plight of minorities in their DNA."

POPSIsraeli Minister Wants Sanctions on US This is the funniest thing, I've read in a long time. So much for the US / Israeli "special relationship", huh? The spoilt brat Israel, apparently doesn't like to be told no. To quote the source: "You really can't make this stuff up" . . Read the whole article, it's a hoot.

POPSDownload role models movie Download role models movie here online, In Role Models the Apatow gang collides with the less successful members of the cult comedy troupe known as The State, and the result is a movie with all the hilarity of an Apatow movie and all of the cold, lifeless disconnect which has kept

POPSSteele Claims He's Done With President Obama!
Con't: And the latest poll is telling us that Murphy (D) now has a 4-point lead in that race. With Steele's job possibly hinging on the outcome, I believe the GOP would like Steele's attention off of the President at least until after the special election. Democrat Scott Murphy has taken a 4 percentage point lead over Republican Jim Tedisco in the race for the 20th Congressional District, according to the latest Siena Research Institute poll. That's outside the 3.2 percent margin of error. However, by a 10-point margin, more voters think Tedisco, an Assemblyman, will end up beating Murphy in the special election, the poll said. Murphy, a venture capitalist, erased a 4 percentage point deficit in just two weeks. Tedisco’s campaign is seen as being more negative than Murphy’s by a 44-25 percent margin, according to the Siena Research Institute survey. The NRCC is so frightened by the prospect of losing in a Republican district that they've pulled out the 9/11 --

POPSBillO the Clown launches another falafel attack on the evil 'liberal smear machine' Besides the eliminationist quality of referring to other people as insects, O'Reilly produces zero evidence -- beyond Amanda Terkel's appearance on Countdown the night before, which is evidence of nothing other than Amanda's availability to be interviewed -- that there is a "relationship" with NBC. It's pure conjecture on O'Reilly's part. Meanwhile, his claim that Terkel "harmed a rape victim and her family" was flatly false.

POPSTeleprompter Toys With Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen :D . . (Let it be known that Rush, for several days, has been attributing to 'Obama's teleprompter' any statements made by our hollow president. Let it be further known that I kinda did this, too, but to lesser effect, even before Rush: "Contrary to what Obama read from his teleprompter today, it is not true that the majority of Americans support stem cell research that involves the destruction of human embryos." Very subtle.)
