POPSThe ugly side of climate politics Why cannot people have a sane discussion about the facts as known? The move to hate shows an inability to understand what is happening. This energy could be used for the benefit of the planet. That would benefit humans.

That surprised me. But what surprised me even more, was how friendly Car Title Loans of Yuma were throughout the whole time, and the fact that they didn’t make me sit on the phone for hours, or spend time at the DMV. I hate the DMV. I hate it so much. Thanks guys!” Melissa E. – Yuma, Arizona “Something came out of NOWHERE and I didn’t know where to turn. I found Car Title Loans of Yuma and after speaking with them for a while, decided they were my best bet. I turned out to be right. POPSHow The FCC and Liberal Churches are Scheming to Shut You Up
from staunch critics of illegal immigration. Open-borders groups have sought to marginalize, criminalize, and demonize those of us who have raised our voices for years about lax immigration enforcement " and to impose an Orwellian Fairness Doctrine-style policy on illegal alien amnesty opponents. During the presidential campaign, the National Council of La Raza launched a “We Can Stop the Hate” project to redefine tough policy criticism from the Right as “hate.” Unsurprisingly, far Left billionaire George Soros’s money is backing the “So We Might See”/National Hispanic Media Coalition effort. And remember that the Soros-funded Center for American Progress has provided the Obama White House with its Fairness Doctrine-embracing “diversity czar,” Mark Lloyd. Jeffrey Lord, who happens to belong to the United Church of Christ, reported in the American Spectator that not long after that speech, the UCC sent out a mass e-mail to its millions of members urging them.......

POPSSecret Service Overwhelmed By Death Threats Obama, who was given Secret Service protection 18 months before the election - the earliest ever for a presidential candidate - has been the target of more threats since his inauguration than his predecessors. Two days before Obama’s appearance at San Francisco fund-raisers on Thursday, a 59-year-old Northern California man was indicted on charges of sending a racist, profanity-filled e-mail threatening to kill Obama and his family. The rambling e-mail included specific references to Michelle Obama and the phrase, “do it to his children and family first in front of him,’’ according to the indictment.

POPSThere's good news about racism in America When a Boston cop refers to Gates as a "banana-eating jungle monkey," when a town hall protester rips up a picture of Rosa Parks and the crowd cheers, look up! There's a reason racism is angry: it's losing ground.

POPSWhy Did This Woman Have 15 Abortions in 16 Years? Vilar's description of what happened "after her 9th and 10th abortions" is disturbing, but what happened before then — how did she get to nine? Did the cycle of self-destruction actually began much earlier, was her husband uncooperative about birth control, did they decide to try for children and then back off? And, given that Vilar is obviously an extreme case, do these questions matter at all to the larger abortion debate?

POPSRacial Simmer It's not talked about (except Carter's comment). But it needs to be. Bring it out in the open and shout it from the mountaintops. Racism is alive and well, albeit below the surface for the most part. But it is acting like the driving force. The hidden engine, if you will, of the hate and shouting emanating from the Right these days. The message from these KKK wannabees is clear. The President is not one of us. He is to be feared. He's not fit for the job. It has nothing to do with facts. The people protesting, for the most part, are angry because a black man is their leader and they just can't wrap their small minds around that. The continuance of this hate and bigotry makes me profoundly sad and worried for our country.

POPSDevout Muslim dies after savage beating by 'race-hate' gang Three of the earlier victims were also pensioners. As local community tensions grew, police stepped up patrols near the Idara E Jaaferiya mosque where Mr Haque was attacked last Monday. The culprits, who were black and wore hooded tops, are believed to be as young as 12. Police say they are treating the attack on Mr Haque as racially motivated.

POPS911truth.org: Re. your questions and comments ... oh so much more at source: Since you've come this far, why not have a look at a few of the 40 Questions or the Family Report Card and ask yourself why, after nearly eight long years, family members and other Americans are still wanting for answers to these core questions ... and ask yourselves why you're still not allowed to have those answers. And have a look at the articles on the front page at 911research.com or Journal of 9/11 Studies, and learn what the scientists are actually saying in their recently published peer-reviewed article. (No, it's not "thermite".)

POPSObama Administration Sued Over Healthcare Enemies List
Nevertheless, say the two groups filing suit, the information collection effort continues under another name and is part of an "unlawful pattern and practice to collect and maintain information" on the exercise of free speech, which "continues in violation of the Privacy Act and First Amendment even if the Defendants terminate a particular information-collection component due to negative publicity." "My hate mail started shortly after the White House issued the 'fishy' request," said Kathryn Serkes, AAPS' Director of Policy and Public Affairs. "We were quite visible and vocal before then, so it doesn't seem like a coincidence. Who did they share their data with? With whom might they share it?" In the suit, the groups are demanding the White House remove all information already collected, and further, be prohibited from collecting any personal data in the future. POPSAmerican Right-Wing a Bit Confused? This story was picked out of the International edition of the Jerusalem Post. It was spray panted and not burned - as per usual with folks in Georgia who used to use burning crosses. I guess they are not really that confused - the KKK always did have more in common with nazi's than anyone else. The most recent trend among righties is to use nazi language to attack those they think are marxists and reverse racists. I take it back - they are still confusing. One easy thing to understand is that they are hateful and driven by fear and hate of what they see in the mirror in the morning.

POPSDoes Michelle Obama Have a Drinking Problem? Is alcohol rehab part of healthcare plan? But he also feels guilty because of the pictures taken of him drinking beer at an NBA game recently.” The President also feels he may have contributed to his wife’s alcohol issues by not stopping her from overindulging during their date night in New York City on May 30. Michelle, 45, knocked back “a glass or two of champagne” while the couple flew to the Big Apple on a private jet, according to the close source, and published reports said she downed two martinis during dinner at the Greenwich Village restaurant Blue Hill. “It was clear that Mrs. Obama was having a VERY good time,” a restaurant employee told The ENQUIRER. “There’s a real fear that she may be drinking more than she should as a result of the pressures that come along with being First Lady,” an insider divulged. It looks like “Last call” are the First Lady’s least favorite words. Source: NationalEnquirer.com

POPSRacism on Campus (University of Colorado)
This is a message I came across Tuesday morning that was sent to my Webmail inbox. “Black Bitch” is the subject of the message. My first thought? This has to be a joke, right? Someone is trying to play a game with me, right? With further reading and analysis, I realized someone was not playing a game with me. My life has been threatened, and I do not stand alone. Listen to me please, MY LIFE HAS BEEN THREATENED. There are two other members of the small Black community here at CU that have received similar hate messages within the past year that I know of - me being the first Black female that has received such a hateful message, again, that I know of. A Colorado e-mail address sent this message to me, meaning someone on the CU Boulder campus could have logged on to any Internet connection and sent me this message entitled “Black Bitch.” I am angry. I am hurt. I am sad. I am confused. Why was I pinpointed? Why has it become okay to send hateful, hurtful messages

POPSState GOP staffer sends racist inage of Obama Another racist ‘slip up’ from the republican party. Real classy. She isn’t sorry she participated in this racial slur, she is sorry she sent it to the ‘wrong’ list. I want to know who is on the ‘right’ list. I’ll bet she doesn’t understand that she demeans herself by perpetuating this sorry attempt at a put down, and the republican party doesn’t seem to understand that keeping people like this around degrades further any shred of integrity they are trying to hang onto. They are likened to a bunch of adolescents snickering at toilet humor. When are they going to grow up and show some respect, for others and for themselves? This is a form of hate speak in it’s ugliest form. Is this really going to be the legacy of the republican party? Because they don’t seem eager to stop it.

POPSThe Obama Hater's Silent Enablers "No matter. Last week it was business as usual, as Republican leaders nattered ad infinitum over the juvenile rivalry of Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich at the party’s big Washington fund-raiser. Few if any mentioned, let alone questioned, the ominous script delivered by the actor Jon Voight with the G.O.P. imprimatur at that same event. Voight’s devout wish was to “bring an end to this false prophet Obama.” This kind of rhetoric, with its pseudo-Scriptural call to action, is toxic. It is getting louder each day of the Obama presidency. No one, not even Fox News viewers, can say they weren’t warned."

POPS A Suspect's Long History of Hate, and Signs of Strain
"He felt it was the direct result of someone in Washington looking at his Web site." In one of his e-mail blasts expressing his white supremacist views, the man police sources say shot and killed a security guard yesterday at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum told readers that they shouldn't expect to hear from him again. Von Brunn was shot and critically wounded by museum guards. He was about to give away his computer, his primary connection to the fringe world of radical racists. He was living hand to mouth. The e-mails were getting violent in tone: "It's time to kill all the Jews." Von Brunn, who lives in Annapolis, was known for decades to fellow white supremacists who read his elaborate conspiracy theories on his Web site and met him through a network of radical racist groups. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, has kept an eye on him since 1981. Lately, it has focused on his Web site, www.holywesternempire.org.

POPSi am not against religion,i am against religious hypocrisy they went on" I tend to be critical when so-called Christian right-wing extremists try to impose their views on the rest of us-especially when their agenda can hardly be called "Christian"- like "Christians" trying to justify torture-or use religion to justify a war of aggression. Or when closted homosexual "Christians" fight against gay right- - see Ted Haggard and Larry Craig. True Christians recognize that Jesus was all about love and kindness, tolerance and forgiveness- not war, hate, torturee, or knee-jerk sanctimony. More at source- they have a good point....

POPS"Take Action: 'Hate-Crimes' Bill Headed for a Vote" "'The problem, which few want to acknowledge for fear of being labeled politically incorrect, or worse homophobic, is that in order to crack down on hateful behavior ... thoughts and expression must also be targeted — which runs diametrically counter to the First Amendment's protections for free speech and expression,' he wrote in a commentary today." "TAKE ACTION Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and reportedly said he is not hearing from family advocates on this issue. Please e-mail and/or call your U.S. representative and request a vote against the hate-crimes bill (H.R. 1913). You can find contact information through our Action Center."

POPSShocker: Professor Who Nixed An Honorary Degree For Obama Getting Death Threats Faculty and staff at ASU have taken a lot of heat over this issue. Laurie Chassin co-chairs the ASU Honorary Degree Committee along with Christine Wilkinson, but she is on sabbatical this year and is not involved in this year’s evaluations. According to a source within the administration, she reportedly received death threats after this story hit national news on Thursday. An ASU spokesperson said they started receiving hate-email within minutes after the story was published on Huffington Post. Crow’s office was barraged with so many calls that many went straight to voice mail.
