POPSTHE Magic Roundabout Copyrights or Not
My storyboard design of the Magic Roundabout was designed by me over years of desiging inventions of numerous types. Characters formed among the artwork and these formed storyboards I set in the files of designs I called storyboards. Unlike Mr. Eric Thompson, I designed all of my characters and features used in all of my storyboards. Including the roundabout. I then coded my artwork and a number of my codes have been reproduced in the animations and other programs sold to the public over many years. Microsoft has presented one of my storyboards on software programs the company produced during most of the the years in 2000 and the program is one of the better operating systems they have produced to date. Can you guess what the program is? You will be surprised to see my initials before you when I tell you where to look. Seeing is believing. I designed Thomas the Tank Engine storyboards that have been made into the animation and with subsequent toys and books too. What I claim is true.

POPSThe Magic Roundabout This image is one that is perported to be of sergio Danot's creation of 1963. Notice someone has made a list of 10 facts, fact 1 being shown below the image. I designed a storyboard of characters I named The Magic Roundabout. My storyboards have been made into the new est production. My sroryboard designs of this animation have been stolen. You can expect to read more on the titles I designed and that have been made into animations. I will be making a claim for all of my original design art and the animations, stories and movies that I identify as having been ones I had been building. I believe someone is attempting to creat a dilusion to make my claim difficult to accept as true, but the truth must be heard & I will only tell you what I have designed and know to be true. POPSBefore the Lolcats: Harry Whittier Frees The author apparently received criticism earlier in his career about his photos. In this volume he reports, "It is happily no longer necessary to take time to refute earlier charges that such pictures are made by using stuffed animals, or by stupefaction, or even... by hypnotism. Their expression is the best answer to all such surmises. But there may still be lovers of animals who are disturbed by the thought that unnatural means, savoring of cruelty, may be employed. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Animals may be ruled by fear... but never can this result in a pleasing picture.... It is impossible to mistreat an animal in any way and secure such pictures as you will see in this book..."

POPSA tribute to Original Kasper's - history, in hot dogs
More (emphasis mine): Hosted by the Site Memory Collective…from John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, “Kasper’s Stories” is a part of the group’s commitment to “exploring the changing urban landscape as seen through individual and community memories of public spaces.” In the case of Kasper’s, it’s a study of one place’s impact on its residents–both when it’s there and after it disappears. “You don’t analyze how important something like this is until it’s gone,” said Kim Campisano, one of the organizers. “And you don’t realize how important it is to have that everyday connection with the same place and people in what is a vastly changing world.” …Yaglijian, smiling and mingling for two hours, said he wanted to reopen the place . “It’s time,” he said, confident that he can get the money. “I’ve kept saying that without giving the exact year for the last few years. But this time it’ll be ready again by the end of this year or early next .” YES PLEASE

POPSRepublican Attorneys General in 13 States Threaten Lawsuit Over Health Care
The 60-39 vote marked the third time in as many days Democrats posted a supermajority needed to advance the legislation. The letter was signed by top prosecutors in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington state. All are Republicans, and McMaster and the attorneys general of Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania are running for governor in their respective states. Last week, McMaster said he was leading several other attorneys general in an inquiry into the constitutionality of the estimated $100 million deal he has dubbed the "Cornhusker Kickback." Republican U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint of South Carolina raised questions about the legislation, which they said was amended to win Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson's support. "Because this provision has serious implications for the country and the future of our nation's legislative process .....

POPSThe impudent tyranny of Harry Reid Note that the subsection at issue here concerns the regulatory power of the Independent Medicare Independent Advisory Board to "reduce the per capita rate of growth in Medicare spending." That is precisely the kind of open-ended grant of regulatory power that effectively establishes the IMAB as the ultimate arbiter of the cost, quality and quantity of health care to be made available to the American people. And Reid wants the decisions of this group of unelected federal bureaucrats to be untouchable for all time.

POPS10 Reasons Why Republicans Will Win in 2010
CAP and TAX – Another massive tax increase on American families and small businesses. Ben Nelson’s Payoff – Ben Nelson sold his health care vote to Harry Reid for $300+ million in lower taxes for Nebraska. The $12 Trillion+ National Debt – Democrats in Congress spending money they don’t have. Mortgaging our children’s future. Nationwide Unemployment rate at 10% - The Democrats are spending money like it’s going out of style and yet they are ignoring policies that would create new jobs. The Government Takeover of Health Care - If the bill that comes out of Congress is signed into law, it will amount to a massive government expansion into our daily lives. It is the number one reason why Democrats should be defeated. Huck PAC is determined to lead the charge next year to regain Republican Majorities in the House and Senate. POPSHealth Care Bill Could Face String of Legal Challenges Third, auto insurance regulation occurs at the state level. When the Congressional Budget Office considered the idea of a health insurance mandate back in 1994 under the Clinton administration, it concluded that the mandate would be "an unprecedented form of federal action." The only congressional mandate close to that was the draft, the CBO concluded. Other legal objections are emerging in the wake of a concession that Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., won for his state as a condition for his support of the health care bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid agreed to provide for full and permanent federal aid for Nebraska's expanded Medicaid population. It was only one of a slew of hand-crafted sweetheart deals for those senators who agreed to support the bill. Graham said his state could file an equal rights suit under the Constitution. The Constitution calls for "equal protection" of all citizens.

POPSObamaCare Sparking 10th Amendment Action in Seven States
Graham has been all over cable news today visibly angry about the vote-buying by Reid that secured the votes of Senators Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, as well as possibly other senators as yet unknown. DeMint has also been active, especially on the issue of the Reid amendment's provision seeking to bar future congresses from changing even a single word of Section 3403 on the Independent Medicare Advisory Board (IMAB). The IMAB will become the federal health care ground zero under Obamacare if it becomes law. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air has a link to DeMint's floor speech on the issue and additional information, analyses, and links. Nelson's deal with Reid has attracted the most attention because it exempts Nebraska from paying its share of Medicaid expenses in perpetuity. Medicaid expenditures are among the most expensive federal mandates on state governments, and the Obamacare bill will significantly increase costs

POPSTop 10 Evil Doctors Doctors are said to be people that help those who are sick or in need of medical treatment. Most doctors are seen as benevolent towards society as a whole, but maybe not by those people who need to get their routine vaccinations. Though we hope our doctors are nothing less than helpful and trustworthy, throughout history, there have been extremely evil doctors who have ruined lives, and even killed some of their patients. Here is a list of ten doctors that surely aren’t ones to go to for your regular check-up.

POPSWhen Sleight of Hand Is Used to Pass an Unpopular Bill by Michael Barone
prohibiting slavery in territories north of Arkansas and substituted popular sovereignty -- territory residents could vote slavery up or down. We cannot say with assurance that the Kansas-Nebraska Act was unpopular -- Dr. Gallup didn't start polling until 81 years later. But the results of the next election were pretty convincing. The Republican Party was suddenly created to oppose the Kansas-Nebraska Act, and the 1854-55 elections transformed the Democrats' 159-71 majority to a 108-83 Republican margin. Democrats didn't win a majority of House seats for the next 20 years. Nor did the Kansas-Nebraska Act settle the issue it addressed. Pro-slavery and anti-slavery settlers fought it out in "bleeding Kansas," and Douglas felt obliged to break with the Democratic administration and disown election-stealing by the pro-slavery side. The issue roused a former congressman named Abraham Lincoln to re-enter politics, and he beat Douglas in the popular vote (but not in the legislature)

business leaders, and healthcare professionals, the Senate majority seems intent on cramming this monstrosity down the American people’s throats.” “Under no circumstances did I have anything to do with Senator Nelson’s compromise,” Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman said in a written statement. “The responsibility for this special deal lies solely on the shoulders of Senator Ben Nelson.” Heineman urged Nelson to reconsider his support for the overall health care bill and said his state expects “a fair deal, not a special deal. Governors all across America are troubled by this unfunded Medicaid mandate. If the U.S. Senate plans to address the unfunded mandates issue, all states must receive fair and equal treatment.” (Nebraska governor to Ben Nelson: Kill the bill http://bit.ly/4RZgZp) According to a newspaper reporter, even Senator John McCain called Reid’s deals, “Bernie Madoff gimmicks.” Senator Reid himself admitted he had “taken care of” enough senators when he was quoted

POPS'Twas The Night Before Obamacare' With their little old driver, so wan and enfeebled, It had to be the Senate Majority Leader. POPS Cash for Cloture: Demcare Bribe List, Pt. II
1. The Hill reports that while Nelson credited Nebraska’s governor for giving him the idea to lobby for the government preference, Nebraska’s governor assailed the payoff: “Nebraskans did not ask for a special deal, only a fair deal,” Heineman said in a statement Sunday. In response, Nelson fired off a letter Sunday to Heineman saying he’s prepared to ask that the provision covering Nebraska’s Medicaid share “be removed from the amendment in conference, if it is your desire.” 2, Vermont and Massachusetts will get similar (though less generous) special treatment by the feds in covering Medicaid expansion costs. Combined with Nebraska’s tab, the exclusive clique’s payoffs will cost taxpayers $1.2 billion over 10 years. At least. 3, He’s plunging in the polls and in need of a little bacon to bring home. POPSReid Bill Says Future Congresses Cannot Repeal Parts of Reid Bill
i'm not even sure that it's constitutional, but if it is, it most certainly is a senate rule. i don't see why the majority party wouldn't put this in every bill. if you like your law, you most certainly would want it to have force for future senates. i mean, we want to bind future congresses. this goes to the fundamental purpose of senate rules: to prevent a tyrannical majority from trampling the rights of the minority or of future congresses. According to page 1001 of the Reid bill, the purpose of the Independent Medical Advisory Board is to "reduce the per capita rate of growth in Medicare spending." For any fearmongers out there tempted to call an unelected body that recommends Medicare cuts a "Death Panel," let me be clear. According to page 1004, IMAB proposals "shall not include any recommendation to ration health care"--you know, just like the bill says there's no funding for abortion. Paging Sarah Palin: the death panel is unkillable.
