POPSOpium, Rape and the American Way
Truth from the women in Afghanistan: (read the whole article for the real story) "In eight years less than 2,000 Talib have been killed and more than 8,000 innocent civilians has been killed," she went on. "We believe that this is not war on terror. This is war on innocent civilians. Look at the massacres carried out by NATO forces in Afghanistan. Look what they did in May in the Farah province, where more than 150 civilians were killed, most of them women and children. They used white phosphorus and cluster bombs. There were 200 civilians on 9th of September killed in the Kunduz province, again most of them women and children. You can see the Web site of professor Marc Herold, this democratic man, to know better the war crimes in Afghanistan imposed on our people. The United States and NATO eight years ago occupied my country under the banner of woman's rights and democracy. But they have only pushed us from the frying pan into the fire. They put into power men who are photocopies o

POPSGun show "loophole" All of this is being driven by the IACP the International Association of Chiefs of Police who are "consultants" to the UN since the 1970's and who has partnered with the gun banners-The Joyce Foundation. These guys are the drivers behind most of the federaliztion/militirization of police departments as well as being the proponents of "Intelligence Led Policing" and "COPS" Community Oriented Policing. The IACP is responsible for the policy, guidelines, promotion and placement of the Fusion concept that has led to the development of America's new Stasi-like system of domestic intelligence.

POPSStay The Heck Out Of Tenn.-This Means You Bloomberg Gun show investigations showing how criminals can aquire guns without background checks upsets gun loving state officials in Virginia and Tennessee. Bloomberg is also under fire by Virginians in a new ad released by the National Rifle Association, too. But members of the Italian-American community say they feel targeted, as well. One part of the ad goes like this: "Our New York Mayor Bloomberg came down here to take away some of your Virginia gun rights. You see, the mayor thinks you guys are responsible for our New York crime problem." The ad also depicts an apparent Big Apple "wise guy" who strongly "suggests" voters not elect gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell, a gun rights activist. "I want you to do it for New York. If you know what's good for you," the ad says.

POPSBelieve it Lying about a blowjob is an impeachable offense -- lying about a war is no big deal, really. Investigating a shady land deal involving the First Lady is a matter of National Identity -- investigating the use of torture at the direction of the Executive Branch is a partisan witch hunt. Executing Japanese officers for waterboarding prisoners during WWII shows that we have the moral high-ground on human rights -- waterboarding prisoners of our shows that we have the moral high-ground on human rights. Sitting two rows in front of Jane Fonda in a 1970 anti-war rally is an OUTRAGE! Shaking Saddam's hand in 1983...meh, not so much. Anyone who questions the president during a time of war is giving aide and comfort to the enemy and should be deported...unless the president in question has a (D) next to their name in which case you should undermine them at every turn even if you have to routinely make shit up to do it. Socialism, Marxism, Communism and Fascism are all interchangea

POPSBill O'Rielly and Fox (News?) Screwing You? You Bet!
This dialog came from this site: http://letters.mobile.salon.com/opinion/feature/2009/06/29/family_values/view/index.html It says it all concerning conservative wingnuts such as Fox (You Call That News?)! Q: How many conservative wingnuts does it take to screw in a lightbulb? A: There will be no screwing ...unless their name is Craig, Vitter, Sanford, Foley or Ensign:eek: ...Perhaps (right) wingnuts should try being human... That's the core issue here, conservative policies are INHUMANE, war, plundered economy and constitutional rights, laws that let corp. scam artists run amok... (pro-choice hate mongering) If the question was asked ... what kind of policy do Americans support without context to politics, the majority of people's answers would be "liberal" and "moderate" on issues such as job security, regulations of financial institutions, universal health coverage, education and social security. F**k (Right) wingnuts...and I don't mean screw or sex.

POPSHow The Repeal Of All Gun Laws Will Free America.- A Constitutional view
"Gun laws - more than 20,000 of them - serve officials by unwinding natural values and rights of armed defence of the person and permit massive transfers of our wealth to others little by little. How gun control is related to modern crises is in how experiments and trials tested and proven on gun bans, restrictions and regulations give valuable feedback to social engineers as to how far they can go against the electorate. It's not enough to say that citizens must be disarmed first before any tyranny, it is more: it is a feature-rich test which surrenders up valuable information. " "How many have to die before the sleeping giant has his coffee and make the connection of gun control to dependency on our servants? Repeal all gun laws as the beginning of getting out from under bigger government and away from dependency on our very own public servants." POPSPro-& Anti-Obamacare Protesters Openly Carrying Weapons LEGALLY Other people have been visibly carrying firearms near Obama's events recently. During a health care town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., last week, a man stood outside with a pistol strapped to his leg. Phoenix police say the people with guns, including the man with the rifle, don't need permits. No crimes were committed, and no one was arrested. The man with the rifle told The Arizona Republic he was carrying the weapon because he could, adding that he still has some freedoms in Arizona.

POPSMan carrying assault weapon attends Obama protest "Last week, during Obama's health care town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., a man carrying a sign reading "It is time to water the tree of liberty" stood outside with a pistol strapped to his leg.' It's not hard to see why the US murder rate (per capita) is four times higher than either Australia or the UK.

POPSAmericans Are Living and Dying In A Militarized Police State
Criminals have gotten better armed and more violent. Drug dealers are notorious for carrying weapons and historically have easily outgunned police. So these are reasons why police have become more heavily weaponized. Plus, respect for police has gone into the crapper. Blame for this lies with the police as well as with civilians. Frustration on both sides heat up seemingly benign situations and if there is a gun within reach someone is going to suffer. This has created a very dangerous atmosphere for unarmed citizens which has lead to increased gun sales. It has become an arms race between citizens and their protectors. All of this adds up to the increased need to protect our rights to bear arms and to loudly declare our opposition to our government paving the way for martial law. No one wants to see our cities become militarized police zones. Read the clip for horror stories of police and civilians over-reacting on misinformation usually resulting in death.

POPSGun Control Bill H.R. 45 Not a Hoax: Universal Licensing Requirement Updated. This article in a blog (inaccurately mentioning "Senate bill") was deleted, but the House Bill HR 45 is real (proof here at Thomas/Library of Congress) , not "an internet hoax", although not proceeding with any sponsors.. It was introduced on Jan. 6, 2009 before Obama's inauguration. This COULD happen, though it appears dead now. "Owning guns is not a right, but a privilege", will be their mantra--the 2nd amendment of the Constitution be damned. This was how your owning a car has been used against you too, first licensing, then collecting your SSN and other personal data, then attaching all kinds of other requirements (from draft registration to property taxes, child support payments, et al) in order to legally drive or even park a car that you purchased yourself as a "free American". Do not buy into this "privilege, not right" rhetoric which they will soon begin to parrot.
