POPSPhantosmia - Illusory Sense of Smell It's all in my head :lol: Aromatheraphy has a premise based around the fact that "smell" is our most primal sense. Animals "smell" fear humans have lost connection with this valuable sense and in this case it can become distorted, just like the fear mechanism, which originally is meant to move us out of danger and into safety. Yet, for many people this mechanism works overtime, even when there is no immediate danger. Is it any wonder that the effects of the chemicals released via the "adrenals" is having such a devastating effect on many people's health?

Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., said the House is likely to pass Obama's latest proposal next month. The plan faces far tougher sledding in the Senate, where Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-N.D., has expressed serious reservations. Conrad said Obama's proposal does nothing about the fiscal perils the country already faces, including deficits that the Congressional Budget Office predicts will average nearly $1 trillion a year over the next decade. "I remain concerned about the potential effect of this proposal on American farmers, seniors and veterans," said Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Republicans said new budget rules ring hollow in the wake of the Obama-championed $787 billion stimulus package and other deficit spending. "Time after time this year, Democrats have ignored calls for fiscal responsibility," said House GOP leader John Boehner of Ohio. "We don't need more rhetoric and gimmicks."

POPSHybrid Hogwash Now that Obama owns two car companies and is quickly trying to cram hybrids cars on the American public it seems that this discussion on their effectiveness would have been better timed BEFORE OBAMA bought the car companies. But like so many of his policies there is never any discussion just a rapid rush to legislate and then we the people are left to clean up the wreckage. This report when read in its entirety shows all too well what is wrong with our energy policy in America. IT IS THE ENERGY CZAR who refuse to allow us to build plants, drill for oil, produce natural gas, explore for more oil reserves. instead they want to install a completely new system for which no infrastructure has even been planned let alone built. We truly have a BOZO in the White House.

POPSGlobal Tropospheric Temperature 1979-2007 Global Warming caused by a run away green house effect can only occur AFTER an increase in tropospheric temperatures. Which means the warm year of 2006 CAN NOT be due to Anthropogenic CO2. Also, remember the spike in 1998, which is so crucial for Anthropogenic GW alarmists was due to an "error". So they say.

Yet how many of us are changing our lifestyles, both in the home and at the corporate level, to reduce these greenhouse gas emissions and the dire consequences that will follow? One may ask what point is there changing your habits when countries, such as China, continue to spew it. Beijing was shrouded in smog during the 'celebrations' in the 12 month lead up to the 2008 Olympic Games. Is this all going to change in the next year?

POPStropospheric inconsistency with phoney consensus For a run away green house effect to be occurring requires tropospheric temperatures to be increasing. This is what is said to create catastrophic global warming. The problem is, as I've said before, tropospheric temperatures are not increasing and have not for some time. This is solid proof that the current warming is not due to anthropogenic CO2.
