POPSChild Witches
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo nearly 50,000 children live on the streets of Kinshasa, the capital, because they were accused of witchcraft and rejected by their families. In Nigeria, the Child Rights and Rehabilitation Network reports that nearly 25,000 children have been abandoned or persecuted on the belief they were witches or wizards. Organizations such as the United Nations Children’s Fund, Africa Unite Against Child Abuse, and Save the Children have stepped in where they could to stop the witch-hunt. But the phenomenon of “witch children” is so widespread throughout Africa these organizations have set up “witch camps” as shelters for children who cannot be safely placed with a relative. Throughout history, people described as witches have been tortured, persecuted, and even murdered. And it is usually society’s most vulnerable who are targeted. With the HIV/AIDS epidemic leaving many children orphaned, and rampant poverty ensuing from crop failure and decade-

POPSWho Knew? Middle East Conflict Starts World Record Food Fight
I have tongue in cheek to get that last bit of hummus - grin. And here I thought the source of the conflict was over land and past wars. Who knew that you could probably settle conflict in the Middle East by promoting a reality TV show called Food Fight 2010. I can see it now: the Somalis, Sudanese, Ethiopeans fight over who makes the best tef-based bread or add the Kenyans and who makes the best bright coffee! But the ultimate game may be a toss up - sorry salad lovers - between who has the best: 1. Zatar. 2. Noodle 3. Bar-b-que sauce (We Americanss think we invented it but you know people bar-b-que all over the world. Really. Our version probably comes to us from Nigeria and Ghana - Get your red hot Suya sauce! Wars are serious and should be ended and I can't think of a better way to do it than to leave it to the world voting online for the best hummus. And actually, I like the cheese that the Spanish make from sheep's milk better than feta _ OMG! Did I really admi

POPSI Smell a rat!!! - Editing of the mainstream media Fraud Over Obamas birthplace EXPOSED. I know what the original article said and thought i was going mad then I stumbled across this whilst looking for another article. Note the comparison as these are two versions of the same article. The second is the edit with it now stating it to be "the continent of his fathers birth" instead of the original sentence (see pic) of "continent of his birth." He needs to be removed from office as I do not believe he could be impeach as his claim to the presidency was never legitiment in the firtst place. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this particular point that is to follow, If he was removed it would take his corrupt administration with him wouldn't it? We need to make more noise on this subject. It does however it does raise the frightening prospect of having a psychopath like Hilary Clinton in power. You really think she just sat back and let Bill do, well anything at all really?

POPSWhy Africa depends on handouts Western farm subsidies undercut African agriculture: Subsidized US-grown crops are sold in Africa at less than it cost to produce them, making Africa-grown crops impossible to sell, and driving African farmers out of business.

POPSAfrican's must embrace Affirmative Action programs. "You need to increase white and minority participation. If your countries lag in pale faced immigrants, buy them! If you country cannot buy them...steal them! America is not ignoring you and we will help! Starting Monday, my administration will begin the first part of a process to export up to 12 million Mexicans from the United States to various parts of Africa." For those unfamiliar with the programm, Afirmative Action programs are in effect in America. The actual word was coined in 1965 by those people who make words like this before there are actual programs in place like this! Websters meaning of afirmative action means this...an active effort to improve the employment or educational opportunities of members of minority groups and women; also: a similar effort to promote the rights or progress of other disadvantaged persons.

POPSObama speaks to NAACP, on 100th Anniversary
OMG! In the last two days, after his busy week overseas, the President came back and right away was fighting strong and hard to get a national health care plan for USA citizens (we don't have one). While there are so many doubters, so many critics, and so many opponents and enemies to his presidency he keeps on blasting them away and moving forward. Now, today, he spoke at this 100th Anniversary of one of the USA's most noted black civil rights group. Just that made it an event: the first Afro-American president speaking to the NAACP...and on their 100th anniversary. It was good, for sure...but near the end when he refered to last week being is the Slaver's Fort in Ghana and went on from there (starting with the hypocrisy of a church at the slave fort the slave traders built for themselves) -- and went on to those noted activist who fought and died for black civil rights and got into the whole MLK or M_Ali no holds barred fullness of it all ---- simply mind blowing! POPSAfrica Vs. The Arab World ~ Anne Bayefsky, 07.12.09
Why does Obama treat the two so differently? http://www.forbes.com/2009/07/12/obama-africa-ghana-egypt-mubarak-opinions-contributors-anne-bayefsky.html Before the Muslim world Obama donned the role of apologist-in-chief. Over and over again his examples of shortfalls in the protection of rights and freedoms were American: the "prison at Guantanamo Bay," "rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation," impediments to the "choice" of Muslim women to shroud their bodies. Christian Africa was to be treated to no such self-flagellation. In a rare tongue-lashing for Africans from any American president, he chastised: "It's easy to point fingers and to pin the blame of these problems on others. Yes, a colonial map that made little sense helped to breed conflict ... But the West is not responsible for the destruction of the Zimbabwean economy ... or wars in which children are enlisted as combatants …

POPSObama Fails To Make Mention of Islamic Slave Trade His vote against the "Born Alive Protection Act" for infants while a state senator. Also, while being "deeply moved" by the European slave trade as symbolized by Cape Coast Castle, which has not existed for well over a hundred and some years, Obama failed to make any mention of the Islamic slave trade which has gone on since the 7th century. POPSObamas tour slavers’ fort in ‘painful’ Ghana visit
This was the end of the President's recent overseas trip, first to Russia, then to the G8 in Italy, a visit to the Pope, then to the slave fortress. This clip has a wide range of pro and con and hostile international comments. Europeans seem very touchy and defensive about having it pointed out that slavery was not a U.S. invention. But the symbolism of the moment is not lost of hundreds of millions of blacks worldwide: For centuries they were treated like *hit and considered savage, half-humans and now one of their own returns, leader of one of the most powerful nations in world history. His message of "tough love," surprised several (but it's one of his themes), his idea of attacking the roots of the problem rather than the symptoms quite wise, and the comparisons (and differences) to The Holocaust we hear about every week rather illuminating. He got a few extra billion bucks for Africa out of the G8 and got back to the treaty with Russia to reduce nuke weapons. No
