From a reuters news report one year ago , Aug. 2007: Lehman hires Jeb Bush as private equity advisor 30 Aug 2007 Lehman Brothers has hired Jeb Bush, brother of the President of the United States, as an advisor to its private equity business, a source familiar with the situation said. Lehman hired another relative of U.S. President George W. Bush last year--George Walker, a second cousin, who heads up the bank's asset management business. So guess who advised them poorly and managed their assets badly? Surprise!

Little known fact: George Herbert Walker, grandfather of George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr, besides being a major financier to the Nazis along with his son-in-law Prescott Bush, was also appointed supervisor of military contracts by Woodrow Wilson. Interestingly enough, it's much easier to find out details of the family's dealings with the Nazis than it is to uncover the simple, biographical fact that the Bush dynasty has been hardwired into the finances of the Pentagon since Day One. Ripping off the nation via the Pentagon is a four generation old business for this crew. No wonder they're so good at it. 9/11 helped then both cover their tracks and take things to a new level. Wow, that's a pretty good scam for some people...I wonder where all that tax money goes? It's bad enough how they rip us off legally, let alone down the rabbit hole to...?

POPSBob Hattoy Dies and America Loses Another Strong GLBT Advocate I remember hearing Bob speak at the Democratic convention in 1992. It was a milestone in American and GLBT history. His loss is one not only to the GLBT Community in America but world wide. While Bob was a dedicated AIDS & HIV activist and Democrat, he had no problem with letting Democrats know when they were not being a friend to the community or doing all they should do. He proved that it is possible to be passionately involved but not lower your standards as a member of the party or the community. POPSInternational Criminal Tribunal For Afghanistan at Tokyo My personal opinion, Good ole' George got rid of habeus corpus not to help further the need of homeland security, but to cover his own butt after being found guilty of the above. He cannot be considered accountable if the Geneva Conventions etc...are no longer in place.
