POPSRule Of Law By Military Coup*
threat to our fragile democracies continuismo presents. In Latin America, chiefs of state have often been above the law. The instant sanction of the supreme law has successfully prevented the possibility of a new Honduran continuismo. The Supreme Court and the attorney general ordered Zelaya’s arrest for disobeying several court orders compelling him to obey the Constitution. He was detained and taken to Costa Rica. Why? Congress needed time to convene and remove him from office. With him inside the country that would have been impossible. This decision was taken by the 123 (of the 128) members of Congress present that day. Don’t believe the coup myth. The Honduran military acted entirely within the bounds of the Constitution. The military gained nothing but the respect of the nation by its actions. I am extremely proud of my compatriots. Finally, we have decided to stand up and become a country of laws, not men. From now on, here in Honduras, no one will be above the law

POPSPresidential Bloodlust: The Movie-Made War World of George W. Bush
Not long after that, the President "launched" what an evidently bewildered Sanchez politely describes as "a kind of confused pep talk regarding both Fallujah and our upcoming southern campaign ." Here then is that "pep talk." While you read it, try to imagine anything like it coming out of the mouth of any other American president, or anything not like it coming out of the mouth of any evil enemy leader in the films of the President's -- and my -- childhood: "'Kick ass!' said, echoing Colin Powell's tough talk. 'If somebody tries to stop the march to democracy, we will seek them out and kill them! We must be tougher than hell! This Vietnam stuff, this is not even close. It is a mind-set. We can't send that message. It's an excuse to prepare us for withdrawal. "There is a series of moments and this is one of them. Our will is being tested, but we are resolute. We have a better way. Stay strong! Stay the course! Kill them! Be confident! Prevai

POPSScant Media Attention Now, while Ms. Nauert does bring to light something that is NOT normally reported in the news, she obviously doesn't know the entire meaning of a military agenda. Note: every mission cannot be portrayed on the news, web, or media. I agree with the General's assertion that the media in general, has misled the American sheeples. I speak from 20 years of service in uniform. And the modern soldiers and commanders know, they can't say anything that would deter or undermine any mission. American lives are at stake. Period.

POPSSanchez: MAss Media is Unethical --<<MY ASSESSMENT IS THAT YOUR PROFESSION, TO SOME EXTENT, HAS STRAYED FROM THESE ETHICAL STANDARDS AND ALLOWED EXTERNAL AGENDAS TO MANIPULATE WHAT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC SEES ON TV, WHAT THEY READ IN OUR NEWSPAPERS AND WHAT THEY SEE ON THE WEB. FOR SOME OF YOU, JUST LIKE SOME OF OUR POLITICIANS, THE TRUTH IS OF LITTLE TO NO VALUE IF IT DOES NOT FIT YOUR OWN PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS, BIASES AND AGENDAS.>>--

POPSSanchez: Situation in Iraq is an endless nightmare English translation: Iraq's current situation is being caused by the National Security Council's negligence and incompetence . As a soldier, many a US-American top politician would already have been relegated or court-martialed, the general said . See the clips General Sanchez Blasts Bush's Iraq Nightmare and Sanchez: Iraq nightmare with no end in sight (VIDEO) .

POPSGeneral Sanchez Blasts Bush's Iraq Nightmare Sanchez continues, There is nothing going on today in Washington that would give us hope. Our commanders on the ground will continue to make progress and provide time for the development of a grand strategy. That will be wasted effort as we have seen repeatedly since 2003. In the meantime, our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines will continue to die. Military leaders, one after another are condemning this adminstration and war. Yet the ego-maniacal war criminal in the White House continues to send Americans to their death for no other reason than to enrich his war profiteer buddies.

POPS$100 billion more for an unwinnable war: Congress caves to GWB Sanchez says that IF America commits AT LEAST 100,000 troops for 6 or 7 years and IF there is dramatically improved US and Iraqi leadership we may be able to salvage a stalemate. WTF. "A Congressional study has found that despite billions spent on training, Iraq has just 6,000 troops willing to operate independently from the coalition forces - with the rest refusing to fight unless backed by US firepower. The study indicates it will be years before Iraq has an army capable of battling the rebels." Hilary, Obama and 12 other senators voted against the $100billion bill, but were outnumbered by the hawks and the spineless. It's so, so frustrating and depressing to watch America go down the tubes this way.

POPSRepublican O.C. Candidate Is Disowned Over Letters to Latinos The letter evoked memories of the 1988 race for the 71st Assembly District in Orange County, when the local GOP hired uniformed guards to stand in Latino neighborhoods with signs stating, "Non-Citizens Can't Vote." Even when it paid an undisclosed sum to settle a lawsuit, the GOP doggedly denied wrongdoing.
