POPSfar right leader Geert Wilders stuffs UK and enters legally, Sieg Heil! Geert is determined to prove he is not a racist or Islamaphobic and that he just hates the thought of Islam and Muslims taking over the "Master Races"! He only wants Holland to be Dutch, Germany to be German, France to be French, etc, and the UK not to be an American Colony! (too late, oops!) Anyway Geert and his SS are busy preparing for the invasion of the Isle of Man claiming the Dutch discovered it long before the Manx Cat and want's it back! The Isle of Man will then become a Muslim no-go zone (yes!!!!), a true celtic state, fly the flag of Oranje (pissing the catholics off in Northern Ireland!) and Margaret Thatcher will become the new Prime Minister holding hands with Mijnheer Geert Wilders over a "lekker kopje hollandse koffie en weed cake" (translation = nice cup of Dutch coffee and a piece of real Dutch "weed" cake!)! "Tot Ziens and see you in the UK" Geert smiled!

POPSAnother Reason I'm an Atheist A simple search on Fitna will bring up numerous links to the film. Propaganda? Inflammatory? I viewed the film and it made me wonder why more Muslims were not outraged by the violence committed by their fellow Muslims. If the majority of Muslims are peaceful, why haven't they risen up against the "tiny minority" and silenced them?

POPS Coming Soon: Geert Wilder's "Fitna II"
Somewhere in the course of next week, the man whose party is currently leading in the polls in the Netherlands, he will go to Florida for a fundraiser for his new project. It will be interesting to see whether Fitna II will receive as much attention as the first one. It seems likely it will not: it is difficult to re-create a controversy. On the other hand, Dutch law - yes, there are those restrictions again (before he releases the film, I suggest we get rid of those restrictions altogether - allows one to criticize religion, yes, but it ‘protects’ groups from being insulted. If immigrants feel insulted by Fitna II, they could very well push the Justice Department to bring charges against the controversial politician. You also have to wonder how the infamous ‘youths’ will take a direct attack at them and their parents - who are immigrants from Muslim countries after all. These ‘youths’ are not exactly famous for their moderate reaction to things they do not like.

POPS Preparing For CAIR Protest In 3, 2, 1… Mr. Wilders will discuss his efforts to show Fitna and to rally support for free speech and the right to criticize Islam. Frank Gaffney, President of the Center for Security Policy, will discuss the dangers to America’s national security and civil liberties imposed by global oppression of free speech. (Hat tip: Diana West)

POPS Geert Wilders Visit Washington, Senate and Supporters The reception will feature a screening of Wilders’s courageous and hard-hitting film Fitna, which demonstrates how Islamic jihadists use the Qur’an and Islamic teachings to justify acts of violence and terrorism, and which has become the focus of efforts by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to restrict and criminalize free speech about the global jihad threat. A question-and-answer period will follow. Many luminaries of the counter jihad movement will be there. This is going to be so fabulous!

POPSGeert Wilders is comin to America! Wish I was able to attend! Get there if you can :) It is open to the public. In light of the multiple threats on Geert Wilders’s life, security will be very tight: no bags or coats will be allowed, all materials brought in to the room will be searched, and the event organizers reserve the right to deny entry to or eject anyone at any time.

POPSWill Geert Wilders Show His Film on the Koran? That's about to change with the expected television premier on January 25 of an un-named film by a leading Dutch politician Geert Wilders dealing with the Koran. Wilders in the past has compared it to Hitler's Mein Kampf and wants it banned; the film will likely make arguments along these lines: "With this film I'm trying to show not only in words but also images exactly what I mean," he says. Unlike the British, American, Danish governments or the Vatican, the Dutch government has prepared. It has adopted a two-track policy of (1) trying to stop the screening and, should that fail, (2) getting ready for crisis mode. An article in today's Volkskrant, "Vrees voor rellen rond Koran-film van Wilders" (translated as "Fear of riots over Wilders' Koran film") provides some details. First, the government is trying to shut things down: FULL ARTICLE http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2007/12/will-geert-wilders-show-his-film-on-the-koran.html

POPS Geert Wilders Can Crash at My Place
Yet, rather than trying to apologize for the crazies within their ranks, they continue to try to foist their religion on the rest of us (and talk about taking over the world). It’s just bad PR. And they’re winning. Muslims, even some “moderates,” who call for Sharia Law to be the law of the land in England, are actually winning. They won because the British pussied out and submitted to fear (the word “Islam” translates to “submission”… how apropos) of the very people Wilders is warning them about. So instead of dealing with the trouble and standing up for free speech, standing against terror, and welcoming an invited diplomat from a fellow European Union member, they caved to terror. So while the Brits turned him away, Mr. Wilders can crash at my place any time he needs. I don’t have a big home, but there’s a spare bedroom ... In fact, that bedroom is always open to anyone with a Fatwa, Jihad or other threat of imminent death by the followers of any invisible man in the sk

POPSUK: "Whatever happened to free speech?" he refusal to admit the oddball Dutch MP Geert Wilders to Britain yesterday marks a further retreat from this country's traditions of free speech. It stands in stark contrast to what happened exactly 20 years ago tomorrow, when Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran issued a fatwa calling for the death of Salman Rushdie for insulting the Prophet Mohammed in his book The Satanic Verses. In retrospect, that was a turning point in the country's history of free speech, an event that appeared to demonstrate indomitability, yet turned out to be a defeat ... Telegraph

POPSPreserving ‘Harmony’ for Islamic Radicals In United Kingdom In 2004, British authorities insisted that the Bush administration return to the U.K. all Britons who, having been captured fighting with the enemy in Afghanistan and elsewhere, were held at Guantanamo Bay. After President Bush acceded, the former detainees were promptly released. Not content with that, the Brits proceeded to demand that non-British detainees be shipped to England from Gitmo if they had any basis to claim legal U.K. residence. Despite the Pentagon’s protestations that these detainees were extremely dangerous, the Bush administration again relented. As night follows day, in late 2007, British authorities set the suspected terrorists free.

POPSBanned for racial incitement
How can this man be charged with simply seeking the truth? Do not the sentiments of the New Brunswick housewife resonate through this once great nation? No. The lilly livered political elite are showing their true colours. Did not labour take us into a universal war against international terrorism, but tied the hands of our soldiers behind their backs, blindfolded the intelligence people and armed them with nothing more than Bibles and shrouds. Three thousand men women and children were burned to death on 9/11. Was that a great act of mass suicide or mass murder by Muslim fanatics? Answers please on an email to Jaqui Smith if she can get away from fiddling her expense claims or puffing on a spliff. You who vote this evil wind are now reaping your evil whirlwind. Contrary to what that sycophant Foreign Minister Milliband may say, Geert Wilders does not seem to be contravening British law, but it is the government and all their Jackals which are definitely bringing our institut

POPSDhimmi Dutch Prosecutors And Geert Wilders "Fitna" WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES SPIEGEL: You invoke the right to freedom of opinion but you demand a prohibition of the Koran. Does that not contravene the principle of religious tolerance? Wilders: For me, Islam is a vision of a society that defines all forms of interpersonal behavior -- from inheritance to criminal law. This ideology endangers our values. I hate it, I don't hate Muslims. SPIEGEL: Is the comparison between the Koran and Hitler's "Mein Kampf" not totally inappropriate? In making it, you're providing the imams with a perfect image of the enemy. Wilders: I want to provoke a discussion. Certain Koranic verses have moved their followers to commit the most abhorrent acts. Where is the imam who stands up in the Netherlands and says, for us, homosexuals are entitled to equal rights and everyone has the right to abandon their faith. http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2008/03/geert-wilders-i.html

POPSDutch Film Critical Of Islam Has Been Suspended Mr Wilders' film is entitled Fitna, an Arabic word used to describe strife or discord, usually religious. Mr Wilders wrote a commentary in a Dutch newspaper on Saturday. "Fitna is the last warning for the West. The fight for freedom has only just begun," he said. They include "material that is obscene, defamatory, libellous, unlawful, harassing, abusive... hate propaganda" and "profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature". Mr Wilders has had police protection since Dutch director Theo van Gogh was killed by a radical Islamist in 2004.
