POPSJohn McCain Comedy Club One commenters response: "Your snarky sarcasm proves that McCain's ads are definitely arousing fear in those who do not wish McCain to win." We are in fear of a McBush win because America's downward spiral of world opinion towards us, our economy, or ethical and moral values, our morale as a nation under siege by neocon intelligence gathering goons at the NSA and Homeland security needs to stop and McBush has vowed to continue Bush's attack on all of us through his shredding of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

POPSWhy I Love Clipmarks So, i didn't write this, I read it. It was posted by Clipmarks user onlinedesign in the "Why I Use Clipmarks" section of her profile. You can click the source link to visit her page. I wanted to clip this because it really moved me. It is exactly what i hope Clipmarks can provide for people. Knowing that we have accomplished this for some people gives me great pride and satisfaction. I could never adequately convey how impressed, inspired and grateful i am for the collective contributions of the people who share the content, thoughts, opinion, passion and perspective that gets mixed together here on clipmarks.com. I think it's truly remarkable.

POPSSpam for McCain and Win Prizes! I'm not sure what this is supposed to accomplish. Unless the intended message is that McCain supporters are really trollish and annoying, it's hard to see how this could possibly succeed. Freepers have been pulling this crap for years and they're still a distinct minority -- they've failed completely to turn the internet into a gathering of right wing nutsacks. Seems like a waste of money. This isn't exactly a new development, but it's nice to see it's finally getting some mainstream press.

POPSMe, Myself and I The generally accepted linguistic explanation for the capital “I” is that it could not stand alone, uncapitalized, as a single letter, which allows for the possibility that early manuscripts and typography played a major role in shaping the national character of English-speaking countries. So what effect has capitalizing “I” but not “you” — or any other pronoun — had on English speakers? It’s impossible to know, but perhaps our individualistic, workaholic society would be more rooted in community and quality and less focused on money and success if we each thought of ourselves as a small “i” with a sweet little dot. There have, of course, been plenty of rich and dominant cultures throughout history that have gotten by just fine without capitalizing the first-person pronoun or ever writing it down at all. There have also been cultures that committed atrocities even while capitalizing “you.”

POPSSurviving disasters - be prepared to help yourself & your neighbors I live in California, where we have a 99% chance of having an earthquake measuring 6.7 or higher some time in the next 30 years. The chance of a quake 7.5 or greater in the next 30 years is 46%. As we saw after the Loma Prieta quake, the government and emergency responders will not be able to help everybody, and each of us will need to help ourselves and the people around us.

POPSI never thought I would see an anti-soldier veterans group comments from article. * Should have added (4.00 / 1) 'gathering of eagles' and now this offshoot 'eagles up' were formed mostly to continue the blantant Spitting on Kerry, Cleland, and Us 'Nam Vets that don't tow the bushy doctrine, most aren't conflict veterans, many aren't even veterans, though they'll wear colors, patches, etc.. Their main claims of support, if you visit their sites, is doing 'battle' with 'code pink' and crowing about it' mostly false bullshit, I've caught them on a number of times putting up crap of incidents with ''code pink' and 'pro peace' activists they're crowing about and I was witness to. And Boy do they Hate OIF and OEF soldiers that don't tow the same bushy doctrine, reason they're big supporters of VFF and the mercs!!!!!!

POPSWhat a Great Idea This idea makes total sense! People use a ton of energy at gyms using the various cardio machines. Why not convert that into energy that can be used by the gym. Or even better, why not find a way to hook the gyms up to the grid to be able to drive power to it? I think there's a ton of potential here!
