POPSDogs Who Ride The Trains Another skill they have is to on the green traffic light. “They don’t react on color, but on the picture they see on the traffic light”, Moscow scientist tells. Also they choose often the last or the first metro car - those are less crowded usually. It’s funny but the ecologists studying Moscow stray dogs also tell the dogs don’t miss a chance to get some play while on their travel in the subway. They are fond of jumping in the train just seconds before the doors shut closed risking their tails be jammed. “They do it for fun ..."

POPSBefore the Lolcats: Harry Whittier Frees The author apparently received criticism earlier in his career about his photos. In this volume he reports, "It is happily no longer necessary to take time to refute earlier charges that such pictures are made by using stuffed animals, or by stupefaction, or even... by hypnotism. Their expression is the best answer to all such surmises. But there may still be lovers of animals who are disturbed by the thought that unnatural means, savoring of cruelty, may be employed. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Animals may be ruled by fear... but never can this result in a pleasing picture.... It is impossible to mistreat an animal in any way and secure such pictures as you will see in this book..."

POPS"THE CRASHERS" Tareq & Michaele Salahi in 2005...................WHAT A SCAM to throw the Secret Service UNDER THE BUS!!!! and Barry O knows them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tareq and Michaele Salahi snapped the pic above with Obama at a “Rock The Vote” event on 09 June 2005 (btw also attended by John McCain … whom the Salahi’s also took a pic with).. McCain won an award for his work on campaign finance reform”. “Just call me Funk Master McCain”, he told the audience of 1000 in accepting his award. Obama won an award for “forming a multiracial coalition in winning his seat”. Cute. Michaele Salahi is getting quite a ribbing in the Press for lying about being a Redskins cheerleader, but Tareq is the much more interesting of the two to me. He has direct ties to Palestinian terrorists.

POPS30 Rock So yeah, 30 Rock made a crack about Obama being a Muslim. I noticed it when I watched the show, and I am sure others did too. Maybe people aren't talking about it, because it just wasn't that funny. It wasn't clear to me what the point of the joke was, and it passed so quick, as if someone was just trying to see if anyone would notice.

POPSMore Fox News Lies I actually watched the episode in question and David did not urinate on the Jesus painting. The painting, which was placed adjacent to the toilet, received a splash of water/urine while David was urinating into the toilet. There is a vast difference between what was reported and what occurred. I included some comments by the "outraged" Christians who commented on this "story". Fox "News" accomplished their purpose by infuriating their gullible viewers. I feel piety for people like this who are being led around by the nose.

POPSReligious sensitivities on all sides The reason I'm clipping this is because religious sensitivities are back in the news and Muslims are not the only one apparently offended all the time. The other reason I'm clipping this is because I've been watching Curb Your Enthusiasm (not this episode though) and I think Larry David should have folded his show last season. The episodes in the new season are utterly ridiculous and not funny. Like Seinfeld, his show has always been brilliant though but I think he has lost it by now.

POPSWhite Coats passed out to Docs A sea of 150 white-coated doctors, all enthusiastically supportive of the president and representing all 50 states, looked as if they were at a costume party as they posed in the Rose Garden before hearing Obama’s pitch for the Democratic overhaul bills moving through Congress. The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras captured the image. But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses. So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area. ‘You look very spiffy in your coats.’ Obama told the group of doctors after his aides had handed out a great many of them. UPDATE: Patterico is not sure that all of the doctors in attendance at the President’s photo op were even pro-ObamaCare . According to the testimony of one doctor who was invi

POPSConservative Activist Forwards Racist Pic Showing Obama As Witch Doctor Go to clip source to see image. Late Update: An emailer points us to a picture of a Papua New Guinea tribesman wearing identical head-dress, feathers, and clothes to the man in the image forwarded by McKalip. So that suggests that McKalip's image was based on a Papua New Guinean, rather than an African. But it seems unlikely that McKalip himself was aware of this when he forwarded the email. It was he who first used the term "witch doctor" in our phone interview, and he didn't quibble with our suggestion that the image played on stereotypes of Africans.
