Last September, Gaffney argued that Sarah Palin has learned foreign policy through "osmosis," by living in Alaska. He's argued that U.S. forces really did find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but the media covered it up. He's used made-up quotes and recommended "hanging" Democratic officials critical of the Bush administration's Iraq policy. He even believes there's "evidence" to support the "Birthers," and once recommended a military strike on Al Jazeera headquarters. ------ In other words a man with no shame invokes the specter of another man dead father to attack him. The OIC is made up of 57 Muslim-majority nations. Thanks to support from Saudi Arabia and its proxies, the Muslim Brotherhood has become a driving force within the Conference and their agendas largely coincide. Grandiose to the point of having a godlike opinion of himself and self-centered to the point of being self-obsessed, Dick's a great example of a complete monster and a total waste of otherwise useful oxygen. In other words, he's a typical neoconservative.

They say politicians must stop trying to hold the cultural line and go instead with the flow of change. In Britain, the Tory party has adopted this strategy. Now there are Republicans saying the same thing. But John McCain is a Republican who does not fit the old template, who does subscribe to some of this ‘change’ agenda on a number of issues. As a result, he was incapable of attacking Obama on the most important grounds of all: that he stood for values inimical to America’s founding principles. When he did venture into this territory, it was half-cocked and far too late, appearing merely like the desperate throw of a loser. The reason he couldn’t do it earlier was that he had no coherent platform of his own. The Republicans screwed up in government, they selected a hopelessly frail and erratic candidate, he ran a shambolic campaign. They deserved to lose.

POPSU.S.Treasury Submits To Shariah-Compliant Finance While in Riyadh, Mr. Kimmitt announced: "The U.S. government is currently studying the salient features of Islamic banking to ascertain how far it could be useful in fighting the ongoing world economic crisis." "Islamic banking" is a euphemism for a practice better known as "Shariah-Compliant Finance (SFC)." And it turns out that this week the Treasury will be taking officials from various federal agencies literally to school on SFC. The department is hosting a half-day course entitled "Islamic Finance 101" on Thursday at its headquarters building. Treasury's self-described "seminar for the policy community" is co-sponsored with the leading academic promoters of Shariah and SCF in the United States: Harvard University Law School's Project on Islamic Finance. At the very least, the U.S. government evidently hopes to emulate Harvard's success in securing immense amounts of Wahhabi money in exchange for conforming to the Islamists' agenda.

POPS The Unfair Leftist Slant Of Tax-Funded PBS Despite taking federal money from all taxpayers, PBS stations across America often air programs and documentaries that tilt decidedly to the left. The report concludes with some simple recommendations for public broadcasting executives. Since public television is supported by taxpayers of all political stripes, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting ought to live up to its mandate to monitor content for objectivity and fairness.Calling for impeachment of Republican presidents with one-sided panels doesn't help make PBS look fair . If public broadcasters want to moderate presidential debates, its moderators ought to display fairness and balance toward both political parties. If the system funds liberal filmmakers, it ought to fund conservative filmmakers as well, and not just serve as a political organizing tool for one side. The nation's PBS stations should reflect the diversity of its whole audience.

POPS Flush The Globalists Senators Votes It's a strange thought, but the latter reminds me of the fact that Daniel New sells U.N. toilet paper. It might come in handy. Daniel is the father of Michael New, the American soldier court-martialed by the Clinton Administration for refusing to serve the U.N. in a foreign military operation. Tragically, the Bush Administration also abandoned him. I sincerely believe we are changing the course of history in a positive direction. This constitutes, in my view, a turning point, in which we may not only be able to defeat the treaty but start the process of defunding the U.N. and/or its agencies and withdrawing the U.S. from various parts of the U.N. system. Our eventual goal must be complete withdrawal. So we will not rest. On the same day that the Senate Republican leadership announced its opposition to the Law of the Sea Treaty, we co-sponsored a full-page ad in the Washington Times with Frank Gaffney's group educating people about it. POPSAbe Lincoln's Antiwar Record Manipulation of statements and facts is an old trick when it comes to partisan politics. Obviously the situation has become worse than ever. Partisans have learned their lessons well as to how to make things appear as they wish them to, no matter who they have to misquote or what situation they have to lie about. I wish I could say that the Bush team invented these tactics, but the best I can do is to say that they perfected them.
