POPSMcCain Lied about William Ayers I posted a clip earlier about how Sarah Palin will grasp at any opportunity to lie about Obama. McCain is doing the same thing, despite proof to the contrary. I have never understood how anyone can be stupid enough to lie about something that can so easily be proven. America cannot afford to have people of this low character to represent us. Contiued embarrassment.

POPSFannie, Freddie, and the Left I know nothing is ever simple but this pretty well explains a lot to me and is consistent with what I see locally in my very liberal State Capital.

POPSModerate Republicans:"Who is John McCain?" John McCain has a serious problem with his own constituency, moderate republicans. They are crossing the aisle too now, to support his opponent. Chafee said he has spoken with several other moderate Republican leaders, and "there are a whole lot of us deserting." About Palin: As for McCain's choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for his running mate, "there's no question she's totally unqualified," Chafee said. They would do better, however, supporting third party instead of supporting Obama who will NOT change the neocon "war on terrorism" and foreign policy agenda (where he sounds alot like McCain), and will NOT have policies that improve the economy nor restore our constitutional liberties trampled by Homeland Security policies. (Obama has not promised to rescind any of the Exec orders or legislation pushed by Bush gov't. Traditional conservatives have a problem with McCain too, and are leaning toward Constitution or Libertarian party cand

POPSMcCain Goes After Michelle ... This is just too much to be believed. I have nothing more to say. Just read the clip and weep or laugh. The choice is yours. Personally, I am weeping.

POPSAlaska Inquiry Concludes Palin Abused Powers The report was released after Alaska lawmakers emerged from a private session in Anchorage where they spent in excess of six hours discussing whether to release the ethics report into the politically charged scandal. Mr. Branchflower based his finding of abuse of power on Alaska’s Executive Branch Ethics Act, which was established to “discourage executive branch employees from acting upon personal interest in the performance of their public responsibilities and to avoid conflicts of interest in the performance of duty,” the report says.

POPSObama on Credit Crunch of Small Businesses McCain is inept, inefficient and flares in anger when a fresh view is opened. His lack of control over his anger would surely push usa and world to the 'brink'. If he is elected Americans would commit the crime of 21st Century.

POPSMartti Ahtisaari, former President of Finland The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to deserving people like Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa and Mother Terresa of Calcutta, India. May the good Lord give them more strength to 'make this world better place', U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said. May God save us from 'greedy politicians' is what I pray for, benaloy.

POPSBig Brother Listening in on Personal Phone Calls If these allegations turn out to be true, it will only be further proof that this administration refuses to follow the letter of the law. There are clear stipulations concerning when eavesdropping without a court order can be used and, of course, the NSA claims it operates in “strict accordance with U.S. laws and regulations”. What else are they going to say? It is despicable that our government has turned itself into such a distrusting caretaker. The flip side to this story is that the two individuals could have made this up for the purpose of having contributed to a book that author Jim Bamford is writing. This could also be a stunt to get his name in front of the public and increase sales. See what we have become? It is now so easy to believe that everyone is capable of lying to satisfy some ulterior motive that no news item can be taken at face value. This country is in serious need of an ethical makeover.
