She said, ‘God bless you — you did a great thing.’ I just sat on the train home, thinking, ‘Holy Jesus.’ ” …This was Lieutenant Kelly’s fourth CPR call in 13 years. The three other aideds all died. “Best thing I ever did in my life,” he said… Having gotten a second chance, Mr. Kiernan, a lifelong bachelor, said he is trying to be a better partner to his longtime girlfriend and is trying to eat more carefully, drink less, and seize each day a little more. “I’m not religious,” he said, “but I keep thinking, ‘Who put that cardiologist on the train?’ Coming home tonight, I looked around the subway car — there wasn’t anybody who looked like a cardiologist.”

POPSPsychotic Right-wing DJ (& piano) On the site, both YouTubes play at the same time, the piano accompaniment to the raving madness of the right-wing nut job very...very cool. There is something wrong with these people. Most of their fears are not based on any facts....most of their complaints never even touch their lives, yet they are so rabid, like dogs foaming at the mouth.

He’s turned them into engaged ( and informed, may I add ) activists, while Olbermann is dumbing down his audience and treating the rest of America like Janet Leigh in the shower." I have no hope for anyone who watches Olbermann. Truly the idiots among us.

The tea baggers' strange brew of Birthers and Birchers proclaim Barack Obama foreign-born while issuing calls to "burn the books." In the end, the far-right foaming at the mouth (starting around the 1:58 mark above) was enough for the renegade conservative blog Little Green Footballs: "This is some really deranged stuff, and the audience is eating it up."

POPSIs Michelle Obama Responsible For The Wright Fiasco?
What can it be that has kept Obama in Wright's pews, and at Wright's mercy, for so long and at such a heavy cost to his aspirations? Even if he pulls off a mathematical nomination victory, he has completely lost the first, fine, careless rapture of a post-racial and post-resentment political movement and mired us again in all the old rubbish that predates Dr. King. What a sad thing to behold. Then, how is it that the loathsome Wright married him, baptized his children, and received donations from him? Could it possibly have anything, I wonder, to do with Mrs. Obama? This obvious question is now becoming inescapable, and there is an inexcusable unwillingness among reporters to be the one to ask it. (One can picture Obama looking pained and sensitive and saying, "Keep my wife out of it,") ?Mrs. Obama's 1985 thesis influenced by? "separationism" offered by Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton in their 1967 screed Black Power: The Politics of Liberation in America.
