POPSLouisa Ball has rare SLEEPING BEAUTY SICKNESS
Soon the youngster was out like a light for as long as ten days at a time. Surveyor Richard, 44, says: "It was very hard to wake her but we knew we had to give her food and water and get her to the toilet before she fell asleep again." Doctors at the family's local hospital in Worthing, West Suusex, examined Louisa but told her mum and dad they had no idea what was wrong, saying it could be hormonal. She was referred to St George's Hospital in Tooting last year March where a paediatric consultant diagnosed Kleine-Levin Syndrome - a rare form of hypersomnia in children also called Sleeping Beauty Sickness. There is no known cause - but the good news for Louise, who has a 14-year-old brother, Ross - is that it usually disappears in adulthood. But that's little comfort to her now. "I was really upset when I went to sleep at the beginning of our week's caravan holiday and woke up when it was over!" says Louise. "Ross had a great time with our friends, and I missed out ....

POPSEgypt Gets Smart on Preventing Flu All avian flu is passed through contact with feces, urine, and sweat. Ending the crowded live markets cuts down contact between birds and birds and people, as well as mutation of the influenza. If Indonesia, Viet Nam, Cambodia, India, and China would do the same - all influenza would plummet!

POPSCambodian Dead Duck Mystery Solved - Bird Flu Strikes Again!
Area in Cambodia borders Viet Nam. February 14th marks Lunar New Year which is celebrated in Cambodia, Viet Nam and China. It is as if you added Christmas, New Year, your birthday and in the US, the 4th of July and Memorial Day all together into one holiday that lasts from 3 to 10 days. And to ensure a prosperous year ahead, one MUST have duck, chicken, goose or a pig for your holiday meals. Now imagine how many ducks, geese, chickens and pigs are raised to be at their peak flavor in time to be sold "live" to millions upon millions of eager customers. Now, you understand how and why regular influenza/flu creates a new mix/mutation of flu each year in these live markets for transmission in Asia and the rest of the world. And you should understand why people are so worried that bird flu will change enough to go direct to people in a big way rather than the normal route of birds to pigs and then to people. Can you spell p-a-n-d-e-m-i-c?

POPSStudy: Elderly With Less Vitamin D More Likely to Die But not all sunlight is the same. To get enough D requires standing 15 minutes in the sun at around high noon, and don't take a shower afterwards because you'll wash off the precursors to vitamin D formation. In the winter or when you can't get in the sun, the natural form of supplementation is called Vitamin D3. Doctors are recommending anywhere from 2,000-5,000 units a day, check it out, including the blood tests for finding your levels.

POPSRevisiting the Swine Flu Lies and Hysteria Along with the U.S. government’s numerous military entanglements, there are a series of “smaller” wars that the state carries out against the people who reside within its borders. These “wars” all bear the crisis logo, and they are always targeted at protecting you from something – real, exaggerated, or contrived – that requires massive government intervention and the curtailment of liberties in order to win the war.

POPSH1N1 Winter Kick-off? This seems to be one of the more reliable sites for tracking the "non-pandemic/pandemic" H1N1, cuts through disinfo to get at the real situation. I don't agree with the medical recommendations at all, but respect the monitoring of global genetic recombinants and assessment of what to expect.Notice that in the US regular seasonal flu has been crowded out by H1N1.

POPSBird Flu: Gone, Back, Gone, Back...What's Up? Money Honey. If too many die or are reported ill, a nation's poultry can get banned for export - gulp - less foreign exchange, profits. Hide those roosters! In addition to just bringing too many birds together (which creates a perfect environment for creating new flu strains), the drive for profit over safety keeps bringing bird flu back. Someday, perhaps soon, in pandemic form.

POPSBIG PHARMA controls MSM "Many countries in Europe are very angry about what the WHO did and how they decided to have a pandemic when there was just a mild flu; and this whole thing was in favor of those companies who had prepared the pandemic plans, and who only needed the judgment of the WHO to have them set in power, and to earn them money," Dr. Wodarg explained. Try and stay AWAKE now people.....

POPSAvian flu not caused by birds? Is this an example of a contradiction in terms? Maybe it's just another example of scientific ineptitude. Or maybe worse... Big Pharma corruption.

POPSANOTHER GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY! H1N1 swine flu was never dangerous, and it never should have been escalated to a level-six pandemic in the first place. It was all a big marketing scam whose purpose was to simply sell vaccines. (And the CDC and WHO were in on it…) And it worked! Big Pharma made out with billions of dollars in profits for a useless vaccine that’s now being dumped by the truck load. These vaccines were, of course, paid for with taxpayer dollars, making the Great Swine Flu Hoax of 2009 nothing more than an elaborate financial scam whose goal was to transfer wealth from the People to the shareholders of Big Pharma. In just the fourth quarter of 2009, GlaxoSmithKline shipped $1.4 billion worth of vaccines. (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUS…)

POPSJunk Science Used to Shift Blame for Bird Flu Away from Human Actions Let's see, migratory birds catch avian flu from the millions and millions of chickens, ducks and geese who brew up new versions of flu leading up to the celebration of Lunar New Year when several billion celebrants just have to have poultry for their celebration and to assure a prosperous new year. The brewing of new viruses takes place in huge live markets that also house pigs raided for the same purpose - celebrating. That's the traditional path to new flu. Add to that, the explosion of the global poultry market in the last 15 years and now you have new flus brewing worldwide, not just in Asia. This is the result of on-the-cheap industrialized poultry farming by humans. So let's blame it on migrating birds and not us because because we don't want to change and have out fingers crossed we don't bring about a global killing pandemic.

POPSRestaurant Chefs Boiling Over NYC Mayor's Salt Crackdown
Slow down, mayor Mike. I don't want you to get skidding. There is dangerous curve ahead. Don't trust your health advisers - they are dead wrong about salt. Swine flu is not enough? May be they mixing this vital necessary white substance with sugars, especially fructose from infamous High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)? The look alike...;) Sugars in our food are definitely deserve your powerful crackdown. Like smoking ban. But not sodium! Hard to say exactly where this trend coming from: moronic food pyramids or moronic Agenda 21. Only patients with developed cardio-vascular diseases must curb their sodium intake. Without salt our food taste... like it taste often now in fast food restaurants. With mood disorders, depressions, bipolar syndrome or even delirium... you name it. And we trying substitute dirt cheap natural Sodium with relative (neighboring in periodic chart) chemical element Lithium, expensive like gold and poisonous like medieval Mercury. Are we all still in Middle Age? Some
