The Sins John Edward Did Not Commit

You know what? I get sick and tired of the moral majority being the judge and jury of a personal situation which is between a husband and wife, especially since so many of them just love to pork it up with hot babes themselves or better yet, love getting same sex encounters in public restrooms.

You May Be A Racist If You...........
merrie
by merrie  8-6-2008    1
If you're appalled that Obama voted against treating infants born after an abortion attempt the same medically as other infants born alive you... If you were proud of your country even before Obama's candidacy you If you oppose racial preferences in employment, school admissions and contracting you... If you think "we are the change we've been waiting for" is a line from a Monty Python skit you... If your grandmother isn't a "typical white person" you... If you're not sure invading Pakistan is a particularly good idea—what with their nuclear weapons and all— you... The tendency of Obama supporters to see racist impulses behind every criticism of their candidate has evolved into absurdity. Now even the first black president feels compelled to declare he's not a racist. By this measure, nearly every American is at risk of being branded a racist at some point in the campaign. To assess whether you're at risk just consult the list below ( apologies to Jeff Foxworthy

Should Conyers Impeach or Write Another Book About Bush's Crimes?
papananook
by papananook  7-30-2008
Three years ago, Conyers' staffers on the Judiciary Committee produced a book about Bush and Cheney's impeachable offenses. Some of us helped them do it. After all, they were in the minority and couldn't do much more than write books. But now? In the majority? Now, should they be accepting that Congress no longer has subpoena power? Now, should they be accepting that Congress no longer has the power to legislate? Now, should they be accepting that Congress has no power of the purse? Now, should they be devoting tax dollars to the pointless vanity of doing what anyone else can do: writing yet another book on Bush and Cheney's latest impeachable offenses

The Prosecution Of George W Bush for Murder
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  7-22-2008    1
When I first saw Vincent Bugliosi, talk about his book "The Prosecution Of George W Bush for Murder", I was blown away. I thought, he's not just another crackpot trying to sell a crackpot book, he is serious. Bush lied us into an illegal war and thus far, nothing, but words has happened to him and his crew. Is this reality? A reality that allows Bush to go scot-free for so many crimes. With no one not one group to point a finger and demand he pay for his misdeeds. Without a doubt, Bush, appears to be one who IS above the law. Not only is he above the law, he gets help to get away with his transgression. (namely: the FISA vote).... We are, most of us anyway, holding our breaths to see this sad excuse for a man leave the highest office, once and for all. But is that enough? I hope Bugliosi, one of the greatest prosecutors of our time, will not rest until he sees justice served upon George W. Bush. Also watch, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlISseXFjng

Obama Bloggers To Forgive His FISA Vote.
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  7-20-2008
A friend of mine (A Democrat convert, to Ron Paul's defunct bid for "R" nomination) wrote me the following on clipmark "The Thrill Gone For Obama Supporters?" ------ WAY worse than any little symbolic pin would by his vote supporting immunity for the telecoms and supporting all the more spying on the American people - clear violation of the 4th Amendment That should tell you that he is coming from the same love of executive power in support of corporate power over people power and considering rights dispensable for a greater "good." Judy --- My response: Judy, I know he caved on the (H.R. 6304 ) and that's a big deal but I won't cross him off my list... better Obama than McCain and I refuse to waste my vote on someone I know, without a doubt, will not win and perhaps will help McCain win (god forbid!)... Obama is our only chance at the moment and I won't thumb my nose at that. More Here: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/07/obamas-fisa-shi.html thinkingblue blog

Is The Thrill Gone For Obama Supporters?
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  7-15-2008    12
Obama Fades? I can't speak for anyone else but for me his glow has dimmed, since he started wearing that flag lapel pin. While living through years of the worst president the US has had at the helm, I could identify the enemy or the Bush supporters by their Bush/Neocon fraternity pins. And I could direct my anger even before the Bushy sycophants opened their bombastic collective rhetorical pie-holes and blather the some ole, same ole. So the flag label pin had become a symbol of pretentious superciliousness to me. Of course, with Obama pandering to the "R's" and the "I's" who voted for Dubya and helped ruin our country and make us a laughing stock all over the world (Remember the headline from the UK’s Daily Mirror: How Can 1,230,065 People Be So Dumb?) may have a little to do with the Obama Fade From Grace. But that PIN is all I see when this eloquent orator takes center stage and its glare has a blinding effect on the reflection of the man behind that "R" studded brooch. :-(

Lurching With Abandon
merrie
by merrie  7-13-2008
The senator had previously promised to filibuster the bill if it contained the immunity clause. There has been a reluctance among blacks to openly criticize Senator Obama, but behind the scenes, there is discontent among African-Americans, as well, over Mr. Obama’s move away from progressive issues. There’s even concern that he’s doing the Obama two-step on the issue that has been the cornerstone of his campaign: his opposition to the war in Iraq. But the senator denied that any significant change should be inferred from his comment that he would “continue to refine” his policy on the war. He seems to believe that his shifts and twists and clever panders — as opposed to bold, principled leadership on important matters — will entice large numbers of independent and conservative voters to climb off the fence and run into his yard. Time flies and the Iowa caucuses seem a very long time ago.

Where are the ideals that once constituted the freedom and democracy? Under the marching feet of an army, fighting not for ideals, but mere consumerism and profiteering at all cost. We have reached the lowest common denominator. Torture, secrecy, spying, incarcerations without warrants, changing the rules to protect those that break the laws. The end is nearer than we like to think. No more democracy and " We The People". Only corporate freedom to exploit the world with our armies backing. Obama is out!!!!!! Don't vote!!! Stay away from this scam.

When will Democrats learn that decisions based on politics only work for Republicans? Still, it'd be nice if the media equal weight to McCain's reversals . But that'd require some sort of journalistic ethics -- they don't have any. That's why only Republicans get away with making decisions based on politics.

"A Bridge Too Far"
merrie
by merrie  7-10-2008    1
For the past two weeks, Obama has moved quickly toward the center. He has reversed his previous positions for gun control, against using faith based institutions to deliver public services, against immunity for tele-communications companies that turn records over to the government in terror investigations, for raising Social Security taxes, for imposing the Fairness Doctrine on talk radio, and a host of other issues. In his effort to move to the center, Obama has distorted his own record, meager though it may be, and is taking credit for a program he strongly opposed. http://www.newsmax.com/morris/obama_ad_/2008/07/07/110599.html

Obama's Flip-Flopping Caused By Evil Twin (alter-ego)
merrie
by merrie  7-10-2008
In light of the recent changes in the current truth, it is important to understand which contradictory "flip-flopping" statement belongs to which twin. The officially registered "flip-flops" already include Public Financing, Guns, Iraq, FISA, Special Interests, NAFTA, the Cuba Embargo, Illegal Immigration, and Abortion. The list grows almost daily. Just a few examples: * Top Obama Flip-Flops * Collection of Obama Flip-Flops * Obama & McCain (cannot confirm a McCain evil twin) Flip-Flops The discovery of an evil twin comes as a huge relief to most Americans who otherwise might conclude that Obama is not a new transcendent-type messiah, but a usual Chicago-type lying politician. Luckily, nobody will have to contemplate the depth of Obama's perceived depravity anymore, because the existence of the evil twin changes everything.
