POPSThis is the worst review of Amplify ever...
So why am i Amplifying this horrible review of Amplify? Honestly, i'm not exactly sure. Hopefully by the time I stop writing this, i'll figure it out. This review was posted by a user who I exchanged several emails with, trying to understand the problems he was having and doing our best to fix whatever we could. Most of the time, his complaints were hard to understand and didn't even seem sensible. So it really stinks that his review now sits as a stain on the official Amplify Firefox Extension page. I wish there was a place i could go to post a review of ConJunTuraL. I think this is what I'd say. "Before you go bashing a company, give some thought to whether your complaints are reasonable. Give some thought to whether your broken English might have impacted their ability to understand and address your concerns. Give some thought to the fact that as a free service, Amplify provides better customer support than Verizon, AT&T or Comcast. Give some thought that by posting

POPSA Big Google Chrome Extensions Push Is Imminent seems to suggest this Extension launch is indeed imminent. The image on the right would look to be some sort of new Chrome menu placeholder icon related to extensions. And there’s more. Below, find some other pictures and information I was able to find in the Chromium Code Reviews area (placed by Google employees) that seem to make it very clear that Google is about to unleash extension support to rival that of Firefox. Based on what I’m reading, developers will be able to add icons to the Chrome toolbar (likely what the image above represents), add temporary icons inside the Chrome address bar (think: RSS icon), allow users to customize the extensions, and developers will apparently even be able to implement their own versions of “standard browser pages such as the New Tab page.” http://www.techcrunch.com/

POPSHow to Install Extensions in Google Chrome Interesting but i'll pass on this one. ____________________________________ For valid extensions, the Installed extensions section in the Extensions manager, displays the confirming information. Uninstalling or disabling the extensions is also just a matter of a single click from the extensions page. But all this brouhaha for just three sample extensions! It could be a big letdown, if not for third party developers working behind the scenes on extensions of their own. I can straightaway suggest to you two sites that could empower your browser by a bit… Chromeextensions Chromeplugins These sites are not associated to Google but are merely a place for independent developers. But they are the groundbreakers in every sense of the word as Chrome tries to become the internet’s Swiss army knife like Firefox. The salvo has been fired by Google. With time it could be a toss-up between browsers. We just have to pick the browser we want.

POPSAddons For Firefox - Fireshot - An invaluable web tool. This for me is as invaluable a tool for storing sharing and documenting my journey across the web. It can take screenshots or full web pages in several formats. Often I use it as a sort of read it later type thing when I come across something I just don't have the time to read at that moment. Or for capturing something on screen that cannot be saved or stored otherwise, including many forms of flash graphics. And all from an unobtrusive button like the Clipmarks one or in the context menu and /or tools menu. Try it out, it really is a fun easy to use and powerful tool. All in all I rate it 5/5 as have over a million others.
