POPS Furious Favre Awes Even Me, The Antagonist Any mention of Brett Favre around me was enough for me to spit out the nails. That was before today's game. Now I'm on home redecoration after he snatched victory from the Niners. The guy is just darn awesome. Each time I say that, it's like pulling a wisdom tooth with pliers and no pain reliever. Niners are not perfect, but I'll take their spirit today over a win in the past few years. I've always been one for hustle. If you hustle and you lose, you lose. Move on. If you win and are lazy, that is worse, to me. Call it Glenn's ying and yang of football. Book is coming out soon. Be sure to buy it.

POPSHumans Are As Leaves Of One Branch If you are hung over in an anguished sense after seeing the display of anti-Semitic leaders at the United Nations this past week, there is hope, but I admit, there are times when I lose some hope that the world's future will be a peaceful one. I'm tired of the Jew-hating, the Jew-baiting that has gone on for so many generations. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked, "Have you no shame." Let me repeat that: HAVE YOU NO SHAME, you criminals sitting here? Have you no shame for your crimes against humanity? Is it not a crime against humanity to call for the extermination of an entire nation comprised mostly of our fellow brothers and sisters who happen to be Jewish? I'm sick of it. Anger, yes, and then I reflect that, if we are all leaves of one branch, branches of one tree, that ultimately humanity will awaken to its unity in its diversity. And, rather than kill, murder, maim, imprison, torture and rape in the name of "religion," we can l

POPSFran Tarkenton on Brett Favre I think this is the really interesting angle here. Favre's conduct the past couple of years makes it sound like he wants to play but doesn't ever want to go to training camp again.

POPSBrett Favre Signs with Vikings Brett Favre has done it again...no, not taken another team to a Super Bowl, he's un-retired himself yet again. So, when will Brett Favre retire? In what has become something of a joke now, Brett Favre has yet again come out of retirement...well, he would have come out of retirement if he ever actually retired. This time, signing with the Minnesota Vikings.

POPSObama Asks Nation To Observe 'Favre Friday' While mainstream media ignore real stories"like world hunger, poverty and disease"in their quest to throw kisses to America's wanna-be version of the grand ayatollah, there is one story they will all cover. Brett Favre, ad nauseam.

POPSMinnPost Columnist Proffers Knee-Jerk, False Reaction Brauer's shooting from the hips and his inane response remind me of that T-shirt that says: "You Know What Your Problem Is? You're Stupid!" Such platitudinous commentary is not becoming of an "experienced" journalist. Experience does not guarantee ethical, reasoned, and/or accurate commentary. Brauer is proof-positive.

POPS Virgin-Americans Fight Against Blood Sacrifice Amendment (C&T) "For example, were I not focusing on this crucial legislation, I would totally be porking some sexy, sexy ladies. No, really, I'm serious. I would be. Stop laughing", Waxman said. Bill co-sponsor Edward Markey (D-MA) said that even if enacted into law, the bill allows a 9 month grace period for current virgins to change their sacrifice eligibility status. "Easy for him to say," complained Kevin Warren, a 34-year old Green Bay Packer fanatic from Fon du Lac, Wisconsin. "You try getting laid with a foam rubber cheese hat, green face paint and Favre jersey." Whether Warren and other Virgin-Americans have the clout to scuttle the bill remains to be seen. It is scheduled for Senate deliberations as soon as the House Sergeant-at-Arms can locate a crane powerful enough to move the entire document to the Senate chamber. If passed there, it is expected to be quickly signed into law by President Obama.

POPSMonday Night Football just got better!! Nothing against Tony Kornheiser as a person but he did not improve Monday Night Football. I thought it was a mistake from day one. Personally, I wish they would talk more about the strategy of the game instead of trying to be -- entertainers. Bravo - Welcome aborad John Gruden.

POPSSwiss court legitimizes hatred-inciting poster “The poster, despite being devoid of tolerance and playing on fears, does not depict Muslims in a way that they are unequal before the law.
