Obama and Holder want to return some of the GITMO prisoners to Yemen, a country with a currently uncontrolled proliferation of Terrorists and Terrorist training camps. Obama and Holder plan to try senior GITMO Terrorists in New York City and move others to Thomson, Illinois. These war criminals are going to receive protections under our Constitution. Is this simply is an act of poor judgment or is it something else? Obama has been going on World tours and apologizing for the United States defending itself against Terrorists. This is incomprehensible. Obama is our President and he certainly does not appear to like the United States, its military, or its exceptional accomplishments. POPSThe Despot of the North Once again, Prime Minister Harper tries to shut down the parliamentary process because he doesn't feel that he has tyrannical control over the government. Questions are being asked about the Afghani prisoner abuses and the opposition parties are blocking his heavy-handed bills in Parliament, so he's going to stack the Senate with Conservatives (a process he vocally condemned early in his despotic reign) to give him absolute control over the government. That's not the Canadian way; that's taking a page out of Bush's fascist book. If Governor General Michael Jean approves a prorogue, there is going to be a huge outcry, and hopefully, hell to pay.

An anti-Arpaio group called Maricopa Citizens for Safety Accountability, which formed last year in response to investigative reports and studies demonstrating that Arpaio's insane obsession with illegal immigrants was destroying his office's ability to actually deal with real law enforcement work, began showing up at county board meetings and asking to speak. Arpaio actually sent out his deputies in force to patrol these meetings, and they arrested people for merely applauding Arpaio's critics. If that sounds fascist to you, that's about right -- after all, some of the local neo-Nazis are Arpaio's biggest fans -- and he's been known to return the love.
