POPSStumble 'search' Results - Searching index "If only I had known!" was the bitter cry of the searcher who relied just on search engines to search the Web. POPSOur Genocidal track record I know, y'all think I hate America...Not so, but I despise what the people of the USA has done in so many instances of genocidal hypocrisy...I cannot celebrate our Independence without seeing all the death and destruction we have brouht to the brown, red and yellow segments of Mankind. I'm thoroughly disgusted with 'Murrika today and especially of the last 8 years. Our collective karma is disastrous and the Empire will fall, just like all Empires do. The "Noble Experiment" in Democracy gets a big FAIL. Despite all the good we have done, the USA is a racist, war-loving, greedy, Earth-polluting, voracious nation. Pretty sad when you think about it, neh?

POPSYamuna footsavers We've been using a tennis ball for doing this -- self-administered massage of the fascia on the bottom of the feet -- but this looks like a more elegant implementation of the same idea. Massaging the fascia on the bottom of the feet can have a surprisingly large effect on increasing one's flexibility. A simple experiment to try: Sit on the floor with your legs extended out flat in front of you and reach forward to touch your toes (a seated forward bend). Notice how far you're able to reach. Now massage the fascia on the bottom of your feet, either with a ball (tennis, racquet, or the like) or by hand. Really knead the soles of your feet. Now do another seated forward bend. How far can you reach now? When I tried this the first time, it increased my stretch by about 2 inches. Fascia are fascinating.

POPSOur Paradoxical Attitudes Toward Privacy “The cues that we rely on through culture and evolution to tell us there is a privacy issue are not present on the Internet,” he said. Meanwhile, “the same technology magnifies the risk.”

POPSDiary of a deliberately spammed housewife By the time it was all over, after every bank-account phishing scam, Nigerian bank scheme, and offer for medication, adult content and just plain free stuff had been pursued. "I was horrified," says Mooney, a realtor by profession. "It's all snake oil. I'm amazed at what true junk is out there when you're clicking through on e-mail."

POPS'Mind's eye' influences visual perception The new findings offer an objective tool to assess the often-slippery concept of imagination. This is an interesting and fascinating experiment. It is perhaps a far shot but this may point towards the roots of human's ability and inclination to envision a future reality and than change the world around to fit this reality.
