Trizeon - Keyword Research and Keyword Stemming
vinayvallem
by vinayvallem  Today 5:37 AM
With the number of websites belonging to a specific niche increasing at a very high rate, selection of apt and specific keywords has become difficult for the website owners. In such a context, keyword stemming would be the better option as it is known to yield better results.

Was the Real Jihad Against US Economic?
ellen_001
by ellen_001  Yesterday 10:37 PM
And did we lose? Article from a conservative site, suggesting that perhaps the real war against the US was economic and we played right into it. Some partisan crap, but an intriguing idea. See full article for more..

To Each According To His Hyphen
ColoradoRight
by ColoradoRight  10-8-2008    2
Clearly no member of ethnic minority should be allowed, under any circumstances, to oppose Obama. By doing so they will equate themselves to the self-reliant and individualistic, success-driven Caucasian male grownups, which is patently absurd. Someone has yet to answer for the existence of Thomas Sowell, Michael Steele, and Condi Rice. What will happen to the Party if all minority representatives stop representing and abandon the progressive protection racket?

The view from one of the believers. If you care to wade through this drivel you will be entertained by a multitude of false assertions, straw men, and arguments from ignorance. The depth of illogic is stunning. It's sad that many people who read this sort of crap swallow it as readily as they do the dogma behind it.

Discovery Of 'Broken Symmetry' At Subatomic Level Earns 2008 Nobel Prize In Physics
Silkweaver
by Silkweaver  10-7-2008
It has proved to be extremely useful, and Nambu’s theories permeate the Standard Model of elementary particle physics. The Model unifies the smallest building blocks of all matter and three of nature’s four forces in one single theory. The spontaneous broken symmetries that Nambu studied, differ from the broken symmetries described by Makoto Kobayashi and Toshihide Maskawa. These spontaneous occurrences seem to have existed in nature since the very beginning of the universe and came as a complete surprise when they first appeared in particle experiments in 1964. It is only in recent years that scientists have come to fully confirm the explanations that Kobayashi and Maskawa made in 1972. It is for this work that they are now awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. They explained broken symmetry within the framework of the Standard Model, but required that the Model be extended to three families of quarks. These predicted, hypothetical new quarks have recently appeared in physics expe

The Other Humans
thinkingblue
by thinkingblue  10-7-2008
For a change of pace from the political arena... This month's National Geographic has a very interesting article about the other humans who lived upon our planet, The Neanderthals. We know so little about the development of our species. Searching for information on it, will bring you many theories. Most agree though, that the human species, in one form or another have been around for a couple million years... Yet we have so little information on their evolutionary process to modern day man. Reading this very interesting article will make you acknowledge how vulnerable life is. So many species have come and gone and we have barely scratched the surface of realizing their existence. Perhaps we will never learn completely how life formed upon our planet and how we got to where we are today, but there's one fact for sure; Science will endure and will never give up its quest to bring us answers. National Geographic is a good way to keep up with new scientific discovery.

OSHO: God is not a solution - but a problem
Michael Black
by Michael Black  10-5-2008
Evolution implies that creation is not complete, hence the possibility of evolving. Charles Darwin is saying that the creation is an ongoing process, that existence is always imperfect, that it is never going to be perfect; only then can it go on evolving, reaching new peaks, new dimensions, opening new doors, new possibilities. - Excerpt from an OSHO Talk

In Search of Wisdom: What is the Root Cause of Inequality?

When there is nothing quantifiable to possess, we would neither know what the share of each individual is nor think of equality; if there was no notion of equality, we would not care that some have more than the others. Fortunately or unfortunately, there is always something to be possessed and our mind is naturally keen on the subject of equality

Pagan group in danger of being dissolved
tommy2balmy

Blakemore said PSA focuses more on learning about pagan religions than practicing them. Blakemore admits people might have some misconceptions about PSA, but thinks that even those who do not believe in pagan religions should go to a meeting. "You can come to the group and just check it out," he said. "We're not trying to convert anyone." Blakemore also realizes some people might take issue with the group's existence. "We've had people that have come to try and convert us. Most of the time they leave the group with a greater respect," he said.

The Core Misconceptions In The "War On Terror"

"Terrorism is a particular tactic of political violence. Wars are conducted between states. Declaring a war on terror is like declaring war on serial murderers. War is what al-Qaeda wants. Such language elevates the terrorists to the level of warriors in a battle. The terrorists are criminals, not warriors, and should be treated accordingly. "

Ahmadinejad accepts Israel's right to exist
zasel
by zasel  9-30-2008    9
Iran's president finally opens himself to the possibility of recognizing Israel's right to exist, and no one reports on it. I am no fan of this bastard, but when he makes threatening statements about Israel, his words make headlines. But when he starts to soften his stance, his words are ignored. Is this because the media is afraid to report anything positive about this man? And who are they afraid of upsetting?

Our Future is ours to write
pokkets
by pokkets  9-27-2008
The grand Unified Theory of Time Space, and Existence. We all have a choice. The choice between Light and Darkness. The Darkness is ignorance, division, fear, and oppression, hunger and need., The light is knowledge, understanding, acceptance, unity, compassion, empathy, faith, hope, and Love. There is a reason we fear the darkness. It will kill us. But only if we believe it is so. When we allow in the light, the Darkness has no substance, and so ceases to exist. So our fears can be relieved, and replaced with hope. The Future is ours to write.
