Certified Translation
jillsimpson01
by jillsimpson01  11-9-2009
University Admissions Offices Require Certified Translations of Transcripts Posted November 2nd, 2009. Students seeking entry into foreign universities are required to present certified translations of their academic records as part of their admissions paperwork. This applies not only to American students applying for entry into European or other foreign institutions of higher learning. Moreover, it applies to all foreign students seeking admission into American colleges, universities and technical schools. In fact, many secondary schools also require translated and certified documentation for foreign exchange students. The Marketing Analysts have established one-stop shopping for these types of certified translations. We provide certified translations which consist of the translation, certification, notary stamp and postage of the hard copy, all for one low price.

'MBA graduates led the world into recession'
brightlight4
by brightlight4  3-26-2009    7
If these business leaders were not able to spot the flaws in the businesses they were running, one has to look into the matter of what business and management schools had been teaching them. The schools promoted a quasi-scientific approach to business, sermonizing that everything could be nailed down in a textbook, and encouraged students to believe that running a company could be mastered by anyone. The entire private-equity industry is founded on that principle. And also, all the intellectual tools that led us into the financial meltdown were largely invented within academia. Complex models for pricing risk created the market for the options and derivatives contracts that have caused so much trouble in the past year.

Youth Leadership Summit STUDENT Testimonials What I like was the opportunity I had to talk and share with students from all over the world, I learnt a lot of new thing on how to help the planet and the environment and I learnt that the youth can make significant changes...I would recommend this experience to anyone. - Sebastian Reyes - Colegio Los Álamos I would like to extend my thanks to the United Nations Foundation for hosting the Youth Leadership Summit and granting me a scholarship opportunity...Between the speeches given by people in influential positions and the hands-on activities, I believe we all have been granted a great gift and experience. - Alex Tolksdorf, Brother Rice I really enjoyed being part of the Youth Leadership Summit; maybe what I liked the most was the kindness of the people and over all the reason why this event was taken done. Following the afternoon reception, Palin attends the NCAA rifle championships. March 19, 2007 -- Palin meets with 10 foreign exchange students. May 15, 2007 -- Palin holds a "brief courtesy" meeting with Martin Uden, then the head of the British consulate in San Francisco. Couric Hides Embarrassing Palin Tape
spirithiker
by spirithiker  10-1-2008    6
CBS is getting a little too cozy with Republican candidates in exchange for exclusivity. This goes against journalistic ethics and just plain good common sense. There have been several other signs of favoritism by Couric and CBS towards the McCain campaign which smacks of CBS becoming a media machine for the Republican party. Palin is reported to be unable to name another Supreme Court ruling aside from Roe v Wade; and she floundered on simple American political history questions taught to middle school students. The fact that Palin somehow graduated from University of Idaho with a minor in political science makes these flounderings and blunders unacceptable as a Vice Presidential candidate. The Republican Party should hang its head in shame. I wonder how she would do on the TV show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"

Amnesty: Sexual Abuse of Schoolgirls
righthand
by righthand  3-6-2008    5
"In the US, 83% of girls in public schools aged between 12 and 16 said they had experienced some form of sexual harassment. In Latin America, sexual harassment in schools was found to be widespread. Girls living in war torn countries were particularly vulnerable to kidnapping and sexual violence, the report found. A Unesco study published last year found that 40% of the 77 million school-age children not attending school lived in areas affected by conflict." ...Guardian

For Sale: West’s Deadly Nuclear Secrets
merrie
by merrie  1-7-2008    1
The Pakistani operation was led by General Mahmoud Ahmad, then the ISI chief. (Inter-Service Intelligence) Intelligence analysts say that members of the ISI were close to Al-Qaeda before and after 9/11. Indeed, Ahmad was accused of sanctioning a $100,000 wire payment to Mohammed Atta, one of the 9/11 hijackers, immediately before the attacks. The results of the espionage were almost certainly passed to Abdul Qadeer Khan, the Pakistani nuclear scientist. Khan was close to Ahmad and the ISI. While running Pakistan’s nuclear programme, he became a millionaire by selling atomic secrets to Libya, Iran and North Korea. Edmonds says packages containing nuclear secrets were delivered by Turkish operatives, using their cover as members of the diplomatic and military community, to contacts at the Pakistani embassy in Washington. Edmonds also claims that a number of senior officials in the Pentagon had helped Israeli and Turkish agents.
