POPSBoredom a sickness or a creative tool? "In experiments in the 1970s, psychiatrists showed that participants completing word-association tasks quickly tired of the job once obvious answers were given; granted more time, they began trying much more creative solutions" "In a recent paper in The Cambridge Journal of Education, Teresa Belton and Esther Priyadharshini of East Anglia University in England reviewed decades of research and theory on boredom, and concluded that it’s time that boredom “be recognized as a legitimate human emotion that can be central to learning and creativity.”

POPSClips from The Law of Attraction Esther & Jerry Hicks I came across the Law of Attraction in October 2007 after attending and volunteering at the First Annual Abilene Wholistic Rodeo. It's hard to start at the beginning, because in reality there is not a beginning. Every time I try to pinpoint at which time an event started in my life I realize it always started long before I ever give it credit. Supposedly Esther met Abraham in 1985 and that year I became close friends with Patri whom I met again in July 2007. She in turn brought me to a luncheon in October 2007 where I met Egan Sanders, founder of Abilene Holistic Network, who introduced met to a guide who helped me access my Akashic records.

POPSJustice Dept. Wrongly Considered Politics in Hiring The article goes on: Under the changes instituted under Ashcroft and continued under his successor, Alberto Gonzales, the political appointees were encouraged to become more involved in the hiring process, Fine said. Tuesday's report is the first to come out of a series of inspector general investigations that arose out of the firings of nine U.S. attorneys in 2006. Fine's investigators also are looking into whether the firings were prompted by partisan political reasons, whether Gonzales and his aides misled Congress about the firings and whether civil-rights and voting-rights cases were politicized. This is how we wound up with so many underqualified attorneys from Regent University .

POPSRockets, Shells Batter Negev
Rockets, Shells Batter Negev; Electricity Still Flowing to Gaza. The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday afternoon to push off for at least two weeks the government's decision to reduce electricity to Gaza in response to ongoing Kassam rocket fire. The Court - Judges Dorit Beinish, Esther Hayut and Yosef Elon - ruled that the State has one week in which to document its claim that reducing electricity to Gaza would not cause unreasonable harm to the Arabs of Gaza. It also ruled that the left-wing groups who oppose the electricity cut-off could then have another week in which to prove the opposite. A Kassam rocket fired from northern Gaza exploded near a kibbutz in the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council on Wednesday afternoon. No casualties or damages were reported. Earlier, four mortar shells were fired from central Gaza and landed near the border fence; no one was hurt. In the morning hours, Palestinian terrorists fired at an IDF patrol jeep near northern Gaza, without effect. On T
