Humans may not be helping things with current environmental changes but we also cannot be totally to blame. Who still thinks environmental taxes are really going to make a difference?
If shopping is two-thirds of the US economy, tghen the other third must be industry, government and military. Somewhere, some time, a market-led, demand driven economy could become an economy driven primarily by needs. There would be a sharp slowdown in economic growth which is what is needed, isn't it?
