They want the “Climate Bill” to pass because it’s designed to gouge the energy and manufacturing sector out of $646 billion in tax dollars over ten years. All to finance his crypto-socialist programs. The Democrats see the climate bill as a cash cow, but Republicans aren’t buying it. The 104 nuclear reactors in operation in 31 states provide only 20 percent of the nation’s electricity. But they are responsible for 70 percent of the power from pollution-free sources, including wind, solar and hydroelectric dams. The only real issue with nuclear power is nuclear waste. The plants themselves do not emit any significant radiation. You receive more exposure to radiation flying in a plane than you do if you lived next to a nuclear power plant. The United States government spent $38 billion on the Yucca Mountain facility in Nevada, after years of environmental and feasibility studies. But green ideologues and their political vassals like Harry Reid have finally managed

House Republicans continue to offer cost-free legislation that will create jobs and invigorate our economy, as opposed to the Administration’s position of trying to spend our way out of our predicament. As the President laid out his preliminary spending proposals for the next fiscal year, specifically his proposed spending "freeze", it comes as no surprise that his plan does not go nearly far enough to address the serious spending problem we face as a nation. The spending freeze outlined this evening hits only the tip of the iceberg, as it applies to only a small percentage of discretionary spending.

Gun issues Brown supports the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. At the same time, Western nations will be asked to pay into a fund worth around 100billion a year to help developing countries protect themselves against rising sea levels, droughts and floods, and build their own wind turbines, clean power plants and arrays of solar panels. President Obama and Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen have conceded that the conference will not produce a legally binding treaty. The UN has confirmed that the flights, rail, bus, food and energy from the conference will generate at least 41,000 tons of carbon dioxide.
