POPSDownload Death in Love Movie “Death in Love”At times it's hard to look away from this emotional freak show; at other times, it's necessary. Yakin and his cast are up to the job, but the current they tap into is so charged it proves overpowering. Still, their bravery is commendable.

POPSInstead of laughing at Arod, maybe we should feel bad for him. If the way he's described below is true, then i honestly don't think there is anything to laugh about. Despite being a great ballplayer, he obviously has very low self-esteem and confidence. What's funny about this? Believe me, i've poked fun at A-rod for years, seeing through his odd body language and facial expressions...seeming to exist on a frequency all to himself. But, at the end of the day, he's human. And if what causes him to act so weird is a deep insecurity about himself, than i feel bad for him like i would anyone else who suffers from that feeling.

POPSInstead Watch My Top Picks Ok, I'm not a lesbian, but I'm not exactly heterosexual either. So watch my top picks in this particular genre because I'm right half the time :D 1. Fried Green Tomatoes Unfortunately the movie version has been "sanitized" to attract the heterosexual audience. Even though it fills my emotional cache I still wish they would have had the guts to lift it above that level, but I'm a sucker for the southern accent. 2. Aimee and Jaguar This movie is huge in it's structure and huge in it's emotion. AND it's based on a true story. It's great love in times that make love seem impossible. 3. Loving Annabelle. OK, so it's a sexy, cheesy, student/teacher, kinda disturbing love affair with Simone stuck in a loveless affair with a man (of course). I'd watch it again just for the music though. 4. But I'm a Cheerleader. This boot camp is so absurd that it's funny. And the moral of this review is that I cannot come up with 5 good lesbian movies. What a shame.

POPSBeyond Betrayal: Life After Infidelity It's a rather long article from which this crop is just one of the last paragraphs. The style of prose is a bit too provocative given the delicate subject but I found the reading very interesting with some earnest parapraphs. There are some really complex infidelity stories in the article. Hard to believe life can be so messy.
