POPSFlashLoad - video downloader FlashLoad is a simple tool to Download, Save and Convert Videos and Files from YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe, etc. with one simple click. At the mentioned pages it's the problem, that all issued Videos are embedded into the page or into Flash. So they normally can't be downloaded directly. For this, our service provides the possibility to resolve the download link from the page. Simply choose the page, which you want to download from and get a description what you have to do. (Note: Some videos you download have the ".flv" (Flash Video) extension, to play them use the FLV Player you can find in our FAQ-Section)

POPSDocstoc: Clipmarks for Documents! I thought my title was better than their own description, "Youtube for documents". Their's is hype, mine is more accurate. This suggests also that Clipmarks programming could be applied to various fields in like manner, for various applications. I would like to see Clipmarks expand their capabilities like this so we could post or embed actual legal (legislative) briefs that could be scrolled right from a blog, making reading and reporting online a great deal easier, and pdf in particular easier to reference in a blog post. (A Firefox addon for pdf files to view as html also exists). (Just let me share if this idea becomes profitable!)

POPSFlash SWF files in IE This article describes how to cope with the restrictions Microsoft Internet Explorer places on <object> embedded SWF files, particularly a work around for the dotted line added to these objects in the web page and the need for the user to click in order to use them.

POPSUnplug ZShare goodies There have been a few clips on hacking Google to get music. Here's another option if you use Firefox and have the UnPlug extension. Do a simple Google search for your music keyword plus site:zshare.net Example: madonna site:zshare.net Click on a search result then use the UnPlug extension to download the song (use UnPlug's normal Save option on the far right-hand side). Good luck :)

POPSAnother embedded Flash player for MP3s Another tutorial. This is actually my favorite Flash player -- simple, clean, streamlined appearance, no extra features. The one I clipped before (http://snurl.com/19pi0) is a little rougher-looking. Oh -- and -- bonus! I actually tried this out and made it work before clipping it. Imagine that!
