POPSCSI Comes To Second Life An upcoming episode of CSI:NY will occur partly in Second Life. It will center around a murder who is stalking his prey virtually through SL. While I am not a big fan of CSI (can anyone say overacting) this episode will be interesting for one main reason... How many people will sign up for SL after the episode, and will the influx of users crash the SL servers? This should be cool :)

POPSCBS invests in Second Life Builder I'm a big fan of Second Life, but I really don't understand all the money that's being thrown at it right now. Seven million to build virtual buildings that only 50 people can hang out in at once? It feels like things are getting frothy in Second Life investment land.

POPSElectric Sheep Screensaver This is a really great screensaver. I have been using it for over a month now and it keeps on amazing me. It's stunningly beautiful and quite hypnotic too.

POPSElectric Sheep: Awesome Screensaver Homage to Philippe K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep". It works when your computer is idle and download new "sheep" from the server. I downloaded it yesterday and have already a "flock" of sheep on my HD. Eye-catching, mind blowing fractal animations.
