POPSSix, count em, Six trillion e-mails each year Given the amount of e-mail that business people receive these days, it's no treat to see a lengthy e-mail message from a business associate. E-mail is used most effectively to communicate information that would be a waste of time to convey face to face.

POPSHow People Get Hacked For goodness' sake, people, use BCC or a secure distribution list when emailing people who don't know each other, and use complex passwords. Just because they're complex doesn't mean they have to be hard to remember. Think of your favorite song or poem and use the 2nd letter of each word. Mix in the numbers from your last locker number in school and throw in a couple punctuation marks.

POPSEmail Etiquette 101 Sending e-mail is almost like picking up the phone and having a conversation nowadays, but how can you be sure you're using it as you intend and without offending anyone? Not so much about not 'offending anyone' but being more considerate to people we are bothering. The web is mostly shared space and we all need to be less annoying.
