POPSOil & Gas Prices Plunge; Supply Unchanged High gas prices were driven by speculators in oil futures, low valuation of dollar, and war fears--NOT BECAUSE OF LIMITED SUPPLY. Making this point again since GOP propagandists were blaming high gas prices on lack of drilling and our "enemies at OPEC". Baloney! This should bring an end to that pack of lies. 1. This is investor driven, (read the analyst in the clip above). 2. The dollar is now regaining strength , which is used in international oil trade. (But the record $10.2 trillion national debt is made of fake printed money, which is inflationary, and still a huge problem). 3. War fears, which drive speculation also, have subsided as the prospect and drumbeat of war with Iran has diminished (for now). Until Israel foments war again. These are the three principle causes of high gas prices, now being reversed. Let the "drill" propagandists for supply as the cause now shut their mouths.

If we let these Republicans win again these are the types of people we'd be continuing to let rule and mislead our country. I urge their defeat not just in the elections next month, but the elections after that and the election after that until their party is driven into extinction. This will not only help our country but "send the message," that you shouldn't mislead and lie a nation into war, you can't commit war crimes, you can't shred the Constitution, you can't destroy our economy and give away money to the banks while people life savings are stolen. This is the very nightmare scenario I warned about. The courts' steps are outrageous, but predictable and inevitable. A lot of the blame here, however, goes to the administration and the military. They have long taken the position that radical Islamic ideology is not the problem, and that we need only worry about actively those taking up arms against the United States. They don't want us to talk about jihad — the better to keep us in the dark about jihadist ideology. Thus, the government rationalizes, the Uighurs are not a threat to us, only to the Chinese. That was all the daylight the judges need to say: OK, then release them in the U.S., since no other country — except China, where they'd be persecuted — will take them. The government's self-defeating argument is preposterous. Jihadists — and there is not question that the Uighurs are jihadists — do not recognize distinctions based on the Westphalia world of nation-states.
