POPS'Desecrated Flag' Video is DNC Finalist “They should never pick that,” said the contestant, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “It makes the Democrats look really, really bad.” A spokesman for Organizing for America said the group was not prepared to provide immediate comment on the video, which, according to the OFA Web site, was produced by Daniel Lahoda and Saber. According to the OFA Web site, the 20 finalists will be judged by the public and a panel of experts that includes DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, Obama campaign chief David Plouffe, Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Pa.), singer will.i.am and Hollywood stars Rosario Dawson and Dule Hill. Daniel Libit contributed to this story.

POPSDemocratic Donors Rewarded With White House Perks
Presidential aides said there has been no systematic effort to use the White House complex to aid fundraising, though they acknowledge the DNC has paid for some events at the presidential mansion. Many guests at the White House not only had fundraising connections, but also have personal friendships with the president, Mr. Obama's aides said. "Contributing does not guarantee a ticket to the White House, nor does it prohibit the contributor from visiting," said Dan Pfeiffer, deputy White House communications director. • See White House response to story: White House touts ethics in rewards for fundraisers Presidential aides said there has been no systematic effort to use the White House complex to aid fundraising, though they acknowledge the DNC has paid for some events at the presidential mansion. POPSMichelle Obama to get massive liposuction to reduce her ass size! Others mentioned that the real reason was the cost of retro-fitting 75 toilets in the White House to accommodate her large ass, as it would would cost taxpayers $10 million dollars! Ben Caudwelt, a spokesman for the President's environmental issues committee, re-assured green-minded supporters that all the fat that was to be removed from Obama's ass would be re-cycled into clean burning bio-diesel fuel and would be enough fuel to give the State of Illinois energy independence for almost a year! Al Gore issued his own statement in support of the Obama camp's 'green' effort and promised to talk to his wife Tipper about her helping Tennessee become as energy independent. The United Truckers Union has promised to have all union trucks using the special fuel display the signage....Ass For Gas! Proudly Powered by Michelle Obama!

POPS The Cult of Iconography People obsessed with their own image expect some opposition. But there is one thing the true narcissist cannot tolerate… LOL ! This ( LOL ! ) is the killer ap. I wouldn’t worry about the Joker poster so much, Mr. President. But if this ( LOL ! ) catches on, and your policies are reduced to three-letter ridicule ( LOL ! )… well, sir, then you are in real trouble.

POPSDoes green tea stop hair loss? Amongst the many goodies in green tea there are substances called polyphenol catechins. Evidence indicates that these polyphenols may block the action of dihydrotestosterone that sparks male hair loss.

POPSSuit filed over mass arrest during DNC protest. "Denver police have said they were trying to control the crowd moving from Civic Center. The officers testified in court that they had intelligence that anarchists planned to gather in the park, then move toward the 16th Street Mall to wreak havoc at delegate hotels and other businesses. The activists had posted that plan on a publicly available website."

POPSMemory Lane: An Ongoing Series for Obamacrat Demagogues Yesterday I noted that DNC "chairman emeritus" Howard Dean was coming to Ohio tomorrow to rally the SEIU and OEA union mafia in support of Obamafail at their Columbus hq. The event flier advertised that event as "open to the public". Well, SEIU didn't appreciate my advertising their "open to the public" event, so they are now requiring tickets for entry, which they have dutifully passed out to their union mafia allies for distribution. Don't worry about trying to get a ticket though. The SEIU website now says that your only hope to participate is to watch the event on their website. So much for "open to the public". http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/198475.php

"I think people are getting the feedback that they're having very good conversations about what's in the legislation -- what people would like to see, what options they want to have, why they think it's important," he said. "I said this yesterday, I'll say this again: while I appreciate that you all have decided that every town hall meeting ends in pushing, shoving and yelling...they're not completely indicative of what's going on in America." Still, the administration will continue trying to rebut attacks on Obama's proposals, he said. "I think he believes very strongly, as we talked about yesterday, that it is important to address misconceptions or misimpressions that have been left out there about the bills. I do believe that the president feels strongly that when he makes his case, it helps the case for overall health care reform," Gibbs told reporters during his daily briefing. "So he felt very satisfied with what happened in New Hampshire. He was able to address conc

POPSGoose/Gander? Guess It's About Who's Cooked. This article pissed me off. But I was heartened by some of the comments. Some guy does up a poster expressing his opinion and I've seen it all over the place. Personally, I thought it was brilliant. No one had a problem with the anti-Bush, anti-Cheney cartoons and commentary... but I guess that was different. When was the last time - in your memory - that anyone, especially a kid, was taken into custody (but not 'arrested') for a political cartoon posted anywhere? Is satire dead? Is political commentary now a crime? Free speech is now a thing of the past? Or is it that we just can't disagree with the Chosen One? Well, they better come and get me because I don't like the guy, I sure as hell didn't vote for him or any of his cronies and I just might have to put this poster on my lawn.

POPSWild Misrepresentation Watch Democrat Healthcare Backfire Bonanza http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2009/08/12/democrat-healthcare-backfire-bonanza/ Other Democrats are complaining that Obama is sending his own astro-turfers and overwhelming their offices. Democrats are getting very desperate in their behavior and getting more unhinged than ever, but I’m saving the best example of this one for its own post. Mary Katheryne Ham summarizes the chaos: The White House, DNC, and leading Democrats keep piling on the unappealing rhetoric, labeling Obamacare critics pawns, lobbyists, un-American, and right-wing extremist mobs. You’d think the Blue Dogs might play it a little smarter, but no such luck. Indeed, they are in full on meltdown. tags 1st Amendment, Barack Obama, Dems In Charge: Now What?, Healthcare, News, Obamanuts, President

POPSTo The RNC: WAKE UP The Republicans have for years presented themselves as "conservatives" and the party of "family values." Why is it that "conservative" doesn't include calling for EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE SCAMMERS TO BE THROWN IN PRISON and WHY IS IT THAT I KEEP HEARING ABOUT SOME FLOOZY SCANDAL FROM THESE SO-CALLED "FAMILY VALUES" CHAMPIONS? The ONLY difference between the RNC and DNC is that the DNC tells me up front that the Democrats intend to gang-rape me at the outset. The Republicans claim to intend to protect me, but then after I lower my guard I am violated from behind without warning. This is unacceptable but if I am forced to choose between being warned first and being lied to I'll take the warning thank you very little. I made clear to THE RNC that if they want one thin dime from me they can call again when every Republican Senator and Representative masses together on the steps of the Capitol and states in one loud, clear voice for all in America and every TV Network

POPSDNC Idiots It is happening this month as Obamacare runs into Main Street USA. Checkout the videos and images from the early part of the Russ Carnahan meeting and just look at the people in line, and realize they will also be lining up to vote in 2010. Also check out the photos of the angry mob lining up in Denver to confront Nancy Pelosi. These are average American voters. And not only do they get out and protest DC’s direction - they talk. They talk to their friends and families, who talk to their friends and families. They are eyewitnesses whose credibility outshines anything the news media thinks it can brain wash us with. This is the year the DC PR machine runs into reality - and loses big. The only bigger loser (in 2010) will be all those liberal snobs in Congress who picked a fight with the American voters. Dumb move.

POPSTown Hall Memo a "smoking gun" ?
The memo also includes these phrases, which are left out of the reporting and demagoguery: "Do not bring the signs into the hall if you want any chance to be picked for a question." "Don't carry on and make a scene, just short, intermittent shout-outs," which may sound familiar because the shout-out part was quoted without context by Think Progress. It also offers such guerrilla tactics as, "When the formal Q&A begins, get your hands up and keep them up— be persistent throughout the entire session. Keep body language neutral and look positive to improve chances of being selected." It instructs participants to be ready with follow-up questions and insist that representatives answer questions instead of launching into talking points. The memo outlined strategies MacGuffie had used during a town hall meeting with his Rep. Jim Himes in May of this year. While organizing that event and writing the memo, he emphasized that critics should not get out of hand, he said.

POPSNancy and the Astroturfers Their signs indicate that they are well aware that they have been vilified and targeted in an Oval Office astroturfing campaign designed to discredit their opposition. These protesters told me that they pay their own way and question what the government is attempting to do to their health care. Commonly at the tea parties and anti-big government protests hammers and sickles are used to protest democrat policies. The Democrat Party doesn’t seem to have a problem with wall to wall hammers and sickles and has never complained publicly. Maybe they think it’s a compliment? I find that interesting and very telling. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says this is all “manufactured anger” because the protesters " he calls them the “Brooks Brothers Brigade” " are too tastefully appointed to be authentic protesters. “The DNC has put out an ad claiming that the ‘right-wing extremist base” is out to “destroy” Barack Obama, so it has unleashed “angry mobs . . .

POPS2000/2009 MOB SCENES brought to you by the GOP.
The republican party has been using mob scenes for sometime now... There was the 2000 election when they brought in their thugs to stop the recount. Then again during election days, especially the McCain/Palin rallies (that really should have been called the divide and scatter gatherings.) Now again, they are at it with their organizing mob crowds to descend upon democratic town hall meetings. These people are hateful and law abiding citizens don't know what to make of these type of tactics... That's how they win. So many people believe they are just a crazy fringe and laugh at them while they grow like a blob (as in the movie THE BLOB)... The main problem with normal people is they don't realize how many stupid crazy people inhabit this country... When one gets wind of what the other crazies are doing they jump out of their boring lives and join the mob band wagon. I hope the DNC does not turn its head on the GOP gang... these nuts are out for blood and are gaining momentum..

POPSInsult to Injury "The most mockery-inviting aspect of all this is that Obamacare-supporting Democrats are now ducking constituent meetings back in their home districts, afraid to face questions from the people they are paid to represent. Given the Obama team’s contempt for these people, and its utterly dismissive attitude toward their concerns, is it any wonder “the mob” doesn’t want Obama in charge of their health care? " While there have been several clips about the recent attacks on the opposers of the Administration's & Congresses policies, I'm not sure there have been enough. With the Administration now calling for citizens to send suspicious or phony solicitations and emails to them...assuming that they want their names and addresses...bears the marks of political informants or the creation of enemies lists.

POPSThis is what mob rule looks like...
This is what mob rule looks like By Michelle Malkin • August 4, 2009 10:52 PM I’ve noted the irony of the unhinged Left moaning about the “insane rage” of the Right many, many, many, many, many times. Allahpundit reports tonight that the DNC is now decrying “mob rule.” Lefty bloggers are comparing grass-roots conservatives to Holocaust deniers and waving around the moral equivalence card to smear peaceful Tea Party activists as dangers to democracy and civility (check that link and you’ll get a chuckle out of Media Matters pointing to my archive exposing anti-war fraudsters, Code Pink thieves and home stalkers, and rock-throwing moonbats as some sort of proof that supporting the law-abiding Tea Party movement is hypocritical). Please. This is what mob rule looks like: Left-wing mob shuts down speech at Columbia University… Left-wing mob shuts down speech at UNC-Chapel Hill… Left-wing mob blocks military shipments in Olympia, WA… Left-wing mob illegally tres

POPSTea Party-bashers gone wild
Now, that cabal is accusing the broad coalition of taxpayer activists, libertarians, independents, talk radio loyalists, bloggers, and first-time protesters against socialized medicine of being, yes, wealthy and astroturfed. In a comical missive issued Tuesday afternoon, Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse complained: “The Republicans and their allied groups — desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill — are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.” The DNC definition of “thoughtful:” Sitting silent about the lack of transparency, deliberation, truth in numbers, and reciprocity on the Obamacare plan. The DNC definition of incitement: Asking out loud, “How can you manage health care when you can’t manage Cash For Clunkers

POPSObama's Glorified HealthCare Infomercial Anchored By ABC From White House I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers. In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime. Respectfully, Ken McKay Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Developing...

POPSObama in L.A.: 'I've Made Some Mistakes - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' The celebrity dinner, which cost couples $30,400 to attend , was followed by a larger, lower-dollar concert that all told raised between $3 million and $4 million for the Democratic National Committee (DNC). "We didn't ask for the challenges that we face, but we don't shrink from them either," he said. "It won't be easy. There will be setbacks. It will take time." The president conceded that his administration "had our fits and starts." "I've made some mistakes, and I guarantee you I'll make some more," he said. But Obama said in promising to continue to work hard, "Los Angeles, you ain't seen nothing yet." President Obama was in a boastful mood Wednesday night, telling a star-studded crowd at a fundraising dinner that he "would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR."

POPSMichael Steele, Head Of RNC Laughs Off The Recession FTA: The DNC released a statement today, to express dismay at Steele's glibness over the state of the economy. "This callous statement just proves how out of touch the Republican party is. Michael Steele may be worried about his ability to get a reservation at the latest DC restaurant, but there are too many Americans worried about just putting food on their kitchen tables. While the Republican party may think the pain being experienced by families - pain caused by the economic policies they championed - is a laughing matter, what isn't a joke is that they still continue to offer nothing other than those same failed policies," said DNC National Press Secretary Hari Sevugan. But here's the thing that tells me that Steele is operating a few bricks short of a full load. How does it help Steele's party to try to insinuate that the economy is doing better?
