Some guy does up a poster expressing his opinion and I've seen it all over the place. Personally, I thought it was brilliant. No one had a problem with the anti-Bush, anti-Cheney cartoons and commentary... but I guess that was different. When was the last time - in your memory - that anyone, especially a kid, was taken into custody (but not 'arrested') for a political cartoon posted anywhere? Is satire dead? Also check out the photos of the angry mob lining up in Denver to confront Nancy Pelosi. These are average American voters. And not only do they get out and protest DC’s direction - they talk. They talk to their friends and families, who talk to their friends and families. They are eyewitnesses whose credibility outshines anything the news media thinks it can brain wash us with. This is the year the DC PR machine runs into reality - and loses big. The only bigger loser (in 2010) will be all those liberal snobs in Congress who picked a fight with the American voters. "Don't carry on and make a scene, just short, intermittent shout-outs," which may sound familiar because the shout-out part was quoted without context by Think Progress. It also offers such guerrilla tactics as, "When the formal Q&A begins, get your hands up and keep them up— be persistent throughout the entire session. Keep body language neutral and look positive to improve chances of being selected." It instructs participants to be ready with follow-up questions and insist that representatives answer questions instead of launching into talking points. The memo outlined strategies MacGuffie had used during a town hall meeting with his Rep. Jim Himes in May of this year. While organizing that event and writing the memo, he emphasized that critics should not get out of hand, he said.

These protesters told me that they pay their own way and question what the government is attempting to do to their health care. Commonly at the tea parties and anti-big government protests hammers and sickles are used to protest democrat policies. The Democrat Party doesn’t seem to have a problem with wall to wall hammers and sickles and has never complained publicly. Maybe they think it’s a compliment? I find that interesting and very telling. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says this is all “manufactured anger” because the protesters " he calls them the “Brooks Brothers Brigade” " are too tastefully appointed to be authentic protesters. “The DNC has put out an ad claiming that the ‘right-wing extremist base” is out to “destroy” Barack Obama, so it has unleashed “angry mobs . . .

These people are hateful and law abiding citizens don't know what to make of these type of tactics... That's how they win. So many people believe they are just a crazy fringe and laugh at them while they grow like a blob (as in the movie THE BLOB)... The main problem with normal people is they don't realize how many stupid crazy people inhabit this country... When one gets wind of what the other crazies are doing they jump out of their boring lives and join the mob band wagon. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers. In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime.
