POPSSorry Ass News For A Sunday Morning Did you ever pick up a newspaper and wished you hadn't? Well that's what happened to me this morning. It wasn't an actual real time Newspaper but in today's world it was a Newsdig but I still wished that I hadn't clicked! First it was a, Health Care {NO} Reform won by the Health Care and insurance Industry. Then the gloom and doom news from Afghanistan. It's enough to make you put on a pair of rose colored glasses or stick your head in the sand. But alas, I can't do that, because then I would become part of the (Sarah Palin - Michele Bachmann et al ) crazy lunatic fringe mob on the right! :eek:

POPSMore Fox News Lies I actually watched the episode in question and David did not urinate on the Jesus painting. The painting, which was placed adjacent to the toilet, received a splash of water/urine while David was urinating into the toilet. There is a vast difference between what was reported and what occurred. I included some comments by the "outraged" Christians who commented on this "story". Fox "News" accomplished their purpose by infuriating their gullible viewers. I feel piety for people like this who are being led around by the nose.

POPSAnother Disgusting Photo Op by Obama My my, he must have had saluting lessons for this photo op. This is kind of like a Berlin speech during the campaign. While his indecision is causing our troops to be killed in Afghanistan, he can still take time off from his golf game to suit up and practice saluting for a photo opportunity at the arrival of one of our brave soldiers whose death he is responsible for. Obama is truly loathsome.

I’ve always thought when money is the bottom line, LOOK OUT! Health care is one of those touchy subjects that people would like to feel, money has no power over. How naive! When money is involved, forgetaboutit, you become a $ sign. I once worked for a funeral home and I was amazed how money was the bottom-line. This creative industry didn’t like, waiting for people to die to make their bucks, so they devised something called pre-need funeral contracts. It’s a contract signed by a consumer who agrees to pay installments on goods and services to assure they have the paraphernalia needed to get rid of their earthly remains upon death. The funeral directors (salesmen) get paid a commission on what they sell. So they try to sell the most expensive items (much like car salesmen) to prospective customers often, resulting in aggressive, hard selling. It’s disgusting, but not as bad as doctors convincing patients to undergo unnecessary procedures to increase their OWN wealth. THAT’S SICK!

POPSFox TV - No Shame for Beck Trivializing Holocaust People have been making money by the sack full and gaining power and recognition for generations preaching about who listeners should hate, fear, outlaw, lynch, beat to death. Hitler and Stalin have been joined by Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs and many wannabe head haters - including an ex-governor. In a market-driven economy what's one of the best ways to respond? For me it is to let Fox and CNN know, I am not watching until things change and and recommending the same to others. No Fox, No CNN. No advertising on Fox or CNN. Will they miss me - grin? Only if several hundred thousand join with me in skipping their favorite shows on Fox and CNN. I managed to quit smoking after forty years - cold turkey - so I think I can manage without my local or national Fox, or even the shows I like on CNN until they change. How about you?

Doctors explained that the best match — the one least likely to be rejected — would perhaps come from Travis or Michael, his two sons, then ages 29 and 27. Travis and Michael each had a 50 percent chance of inheriting PKD. And if pre-donation testing revealed that one of them had the disorder, that brother might never be able to get health insurance. As a result, their doctors had advised not getting tested. After all, new research suggests that lack of insurance increases a working-age person’s risk of dying in any given year by 40 percent. “At the time David needed a transplant, the people closest to him couldn’t even offer a lifesaving donation — for insurance reasons,” said Mr. Waddington’s wife, Susan.

"I think any reasonable juror could infer that a man's penis in the mouth of a calf is torment," a Burlington County assistant prosecutor, Kevin Morgan, said. "It's a crime against nature." The prosecution also claims a video in which a calf allegedly head-butts Malia was never seen by the grand jury, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. But this is not the end to Melia's legal woes. He, along with girlfriend Heather Lewis, were arrested in April 2008 for sexually assaulting three girls over a five-year-period. Authorities investigating those charges uncovered videos on his computer of a girl being "subjected to sexual activity" in addition to taped encounters between Melia and the calves, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
