Army Orders Pain Ray Trucks; New Report Shows 'Potential for Death'
Kelika
by Kelika  Yesterday 7:53 PM
"Dr. Altmann describes the Active Denial beam in some detail, noting that it will not be completely uniform; anyone unlucky enough to be caught in the center will experience more heating than someone at the edge. And perhaps more significant is his thorough analysis of the heating it produces -- and the cumulative effect if the target does not have the chance to cool down between exposures. In U.S. military tests, a fifteen-second delay between exposures was strictly observed; this may not happen when the ADS is used for real. "As a consequence, the ADS provides the technical possibility to produce burns of second and third degree. Because the beam of diameter 2 m and above is wider than human size, such burns would occur over considerable parts of the body, up to 50% of its surface. Second- and third-degree burns covering more than 20% of the body surface are potentially life-threatening – due to toxic tissue-decay products and increased sensitivity to infection – and require i

Learning How Not To Be Afraid
balthazarus
by balthazarus  10-10-2008
When Kandel's team used radiation to blunt the birth of new cells in the dentate gyrus, they discovered that their interventions both slowed safety learning and stunted the antidepressant effects of learned safety. Another study that points to the origin of fear as a biological entity. the glitch is it turning into anxiety.

Oct 14 , 2008 - Blossom Goodchild, Project Blue Beam at Ron Paul's site

by firstteam  10-9-2008
Read also the Project Blue books site and then follow through to Blossom Goodchild's material so you won't miss anything should you see something in the sky you can't explain. I hazzard to advice that after reading the 2 articles in detail you still have to make up your own mind - it is not so straight forward. That is the least you can do for now.

That, too, makes this a legitimate question about a man who would be president. Mega-dittoes. But I guess by playing the Keating card Obama is showing his followers that he is tough and ready to fight back. One might argue that he is also legitimizing McCain's attacks (and I guess I will.)

Google analytics and Search Engine Ranking
semaphoreseoservices
by semaphoreseoservices  10-6-2008
As I am hardly involved in forums and I am spending my 5 to 6 hours in forum reading and also I am sharing and getting knowledge from forums. Today while surfing on popular forum, one of my forum friend gave us nice and interesting topic to discussion and we all were silent after this opic. Topic was “can there be any problem for ranking if we are using Google analytics in our site” definitely, first of all we all will say that no, but logic behind topic is, Google crawls our sites and we install Google analytics in our site to allow Google to track our site visitors from different location from worldwide. Means, we allow Google to access our traffic detail. Here topic starts. When some time we get high traffic from other activities like, directory submission, social bookmarking, press release submission and main is email marketing. If some time we stop this all activities, than we got effect on visitors, as we lost our visitor and our visitor graph goes down, in that cases, as goggl

Petit oubli de plus de 400 millions de très très pauvres
mimonette
by mimonette  10-4-2008

The VP Debate
debbyski
by debbyski  10-3-2008    9
"When it came to domestic issues, Ms. Palin mainly relied on enthusiasm and humor, talking about hockey moms, soccer moms and Joe Sixpack almost as often as she used the word “maverick” to describe Mr. McCain or herself. But she offered virtually no detail — beyond the Republican mantra of tax cuts — for how she and Mr. McCain would address the financial crisis or help Americans avoid foreclosure or what programs they would cut because of the country’s disastrous fiscal problems. Ms. Palin’s primary tactic was simply to repeat the same thing over and over: John McCain is a maverick. So is she. To stay on that course, she had to indulge in some wildly circular logic: America does not want another Washington insider. They want Mr. McCain (who has been in Congress for nearly 26 years). Ms. Palin condemned Wall Street greed and said she and Mr. McCain would “demand” strict oversight. In virtually the next breath, she said government should “get out of the way” of American business."

Google Pushes Into Government Market

This Washington Post blog post goes into a bit of detail on one Google public sector customer: the District of Columbia. 38,000 District employees now use Gmail and other Google applications.

jatfla

We all know that innumerable 'holocausts' occurred over the centuries. Even now, they are occurring; but these personal words from those who experienced such racial hatred will be memorials and perhaps fortify those who want to take the initiative to prevent such things from happening again. All the while...knowing that all we do is a drop in the bucket because *hate* and dictatorship are *normal* for this world. But these are a great reminder and I look forward to reading them in more detail.

Ron Paul and Why the Bailout Should Make You Afraid, Very Afraid
lifecyce1898
by lifecyce1898  9-25-2008
I keep reading about how the alternative to the bailout would be much worse. I keep hearing this “we are helping main street” narrative from the supporters of the bailout. To me this is hogwash. Ron Paul said it best yesterday on CNN when he said that without the bailout we’d “have a bad year” but with the bailouts it “will be a bad decade”. I’m afraid, very afraid that Ron Paul is right again.
