Goodbye Palestinian State
citizenbfk
by citizenbfk  11-4-2009
The chief negotiator for Palestine in the Eviction Talks (definitely NOT "peace talks,") with Israel says it might be time to give up the two-state solution. Of course the negotiations were a charade and this is the USA-puppet Palestinian government, not Hamas, but still it rings out as a profound statement, a "thinking of the unthinkable," for Palestinians, a clear declaration of surrender. Thus, the Israeli Eviction Talks seem to be moving along well for them. Erekat seems to miss the point on that. He thinks there will have to be a One State Solution, with Jews, Christians and Muslims all living happily together. Oh my. That is not in accord with the Israeli Eviction Notice. And where does Erekat get the idea that the U.S. will come to Palestinian aid? How long and how much do you have to beat up some people before they get the message? -- The U.S. is on the side of Israel (giving cash, weapons, support for Zionism at home and in the UN). Maybe an "Aineisa," will

CDC Massive Misinformation Campaign: Error Rate Up To 97%
merrie
by merrie  10-26-2009    1
Back then, the media was all over the shortage and the incompetence it exposed. Once again, the vast majority of the vaccine will have been made available too late to have any significant impact on the spread of the disease. Whether it will have any impact on the public’s perception of the government’s competency to control health care is a matter of speculation, entirely, but it seems liable not to help. And that is perhaps why Obama determined that this is the moment in which it was most propitious to declare an emergency, so that when the epidemic ends he can recycle his rhetoric regarding jobs created or saved. Whether the administration will use the declared state of emergency to stifle the babblings of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan remains to be seen. Likely the decision will be made by CDC poobah Eric Holder.

Repost: PCAST H1N1: An Improbable Scenario Requiring More Stringent Non-Medical Measures
nuttyriv3r
by nuttyriv3r  10-24-2009
I had to repost this in response to the strange declaration of a National Emergency. Thanks to the so-called National Response Framework, the Constitution has essentially been suspended. So something nasty is probably about to happen not too far along here in the United States of America. In which time, I pray you will all remember by subtle, underlying message regarding the Kingdom of God which trumps, reigns, and is sovereign over this - the devil's kingdom. It also shall preserve it's residents and those who acknowledge Its sovereignty. This is learned through the grace of God which is the love of all of man where he cares for none to perish, but to come to righteousness through belief in and faithfulness in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, your savior, and my savior. For his promise is true. Amen. With much love, your brother in Christ - David Batchelder.

President Obama Declares National Emergency, But Why?
merrie
by merrie  10-24-2009
So where's the emergency? The only emergency I can see is the emergency fabricated by Big Pharma to sell more vaccines. By declaring a national emergency over the H1N1 pandemic, Obama is playing right into their hands. I find the timing of all this curious. Two days ago, New York gave up on its efforts to require mandatory vaccinations of health care workers. This was designed to defuse a large number of planned protests from health freedom-conscious people who don't want government-mandated chemicals pumped into their veins.  and the violation of rights that has happened in other countries in recent history.” Under the thin veil of questioning, Matthews used an array of crayons to color Rhodes as paranoid and delusional. The Left will never understand the military life, or their sense of duty and loyalty to America. To them, police will always be “pigs” and see our military as “baby-killers” and Mao as a great political leader. And yet, as long as we have honorable men and women willing to protect our Constitution and keep their oaths– The Wall will stay in ruins and our experiment in liberty will continue. Which scenario do you live in? Guardians of the Republic Honor Your Oath http://oath-keepers.blogspot.com/2009/03/oath-keepers-declaration-of-orders-we.html

No Drought Required For Federal Drought Aid
sahara
by sahara  10-5-2009
"In this county, we got a lot of questions from producers: 'Why are we eligible?' " recalled Tom Schneider, the head of the USDA office in Manitowoc County, where livestock owners got $1.5 million. "Our answer was 'Because we were told you were eligible.' " Several Wisconsin counties qualified on the basis of a two-year-old disaster declaration for a January 2001 snowstorm. "It was a nasty winter storm," recalled Teresa Zimmer, the USDA official in Green County. Asked how the storm affected ranchers, she said, "There were several days where livestock owners couldn't get to the market . . . to sell their animals." Ranchers in Green County collected nearly $1.5 million. One of those who got a payment was Cornell Kasbergen, who helps run family dairy farms in Green County and Tulare County, Calif. Family members received a total of $72,000 in livestock funds, records show. It was a program that was available that we took advantage of, did we have any losses? I couldn't tell you.

During the four years that Benjamin Skinner researched modern-day slavery, he posed as a buyer at illegal brothels on several continents, interviewed convicted human traffickers in a Romanian prison and endured giardia, malaria, dengue and a bad motorcycle accident. But Skinner is most haunted by his experience in a brothel in Bucharest, Romania, where he was offered a young woman with Down syndrome in exchange for a used car.

No Country for Sick Men
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  9-18-2009    7
Declaration of Independence says we all have "inalienable rights," including a right to life, and you can't have life without medical care to keep you alive. --- In the other advanced democracies, though, there's no debate. All of them recognize a right to "health care for all" as a moral obligation. --- In the other developed democracies, there's a basic floor of coverage that everybody is entitled to; that's why nobody dies in those nations for lack of care. In the U.S., in contrast, some people have access to just about everything doctors and hospitals can provide. But others can't even get in the door (until they are sick enough to need emergency care). That amounts to rationing care by wealth. This seems natural to Americans; to the rest of the developed world, it looks immoral. The question facing Americans this fall is: what should be the ethical basis of America's health-care system?

222nd Anniversary of the Signing of Our Constitution at the Philadelphia (Constitution) Convention in 1787

Like many of you, I have devoted much of my life to ensure that the legacy of liberty, "endowed by our Creator" and codified by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, is sustained in our day, and preserved for our posterity. "Liberty must at all hazards be supported. We have a right to it, derived from our Maker. ... Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives." "John Adams Unfortunately, the current Democrat hegemony does not share our love for this great nation, this greatest experiment in human history, and is bent on terminating the last vestiges of our constitutional Rule of Law, replacing it with their "enlightened" version of rule of men. "Of those men who have overturned the liberties of republics, the greatest number have begun their career by paying an obsequious court to the people, commencing demagogues and ending tyrants."  Bombings and murders by underground groups, such as Begin’s Irgun, hastened the British withdrawal and the United Nations declaration that led to the founding of modern Israel. Irgun propaganda targeted the British Army’s wavering morale, already dented by the bomb attack on the Mandate’s headquarters – the King David Hotel in Jerusalem – which killed 91 people.
