POPSDana Milbank Is, as Mark Levin Describes Him, "A Punk, a Liar and a Coward"
Constitutional attorney, bestselling author and hit radio show host Mark Levin certainly doesn't mince words. Alerted to Milbank's latest hit piece in The Washington Post, Levin called Milbank out as a propagandist of the first order. The reason: out of literally tens of thousands of patriotic signs and shirts at Thursday's Capitol Hill protest, Milbank picked out a handful as supposedly representative of a crowd he described as "hateful and gruesome." An outraged Levin called Milbank a "punk, a liar and a coward" while challenging him to a debate on his show. Here's a Nazi reference that Milbank might appreciate: I think of him as the Josef Goebbels of his age. He writes patent propaganda in service of the State. And I can prove it. Bubba visited DC for the rally and wandered through the crowd for hours taking scores of photos. I created a montage -- click to zoom if you'd like read the dozens of visible messages -- from his collection.

POPSFoundation Acquires Letters Sent From Prisoners of Nazi..Camps We all know that innumerable 'holocausts' occurred over the centuries. Even now, they are occurring; but these personal words from those who experienced such racial hatred will be memorials and perhaps fortify those who want to take the initiative to prevent such things from happening again. All the while...knowing that all we do is a drop in the bucket because *hate* and dictatorship are *normal* for this world. But these are a great reminder and I look forward to reading them in more detail.

POPSMartin Niemöller's famous quotation: "First they came for the Communists" Martin Niemöller, (1892-1984) was a First World War naval hero and Berlin pastor who became a leader of the Christian opposition to the Nazis. He was imprisoned in Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp from 1937-1941 at Hitler's pleasure and moved to Dachau in 1941 where he remained until 1945. After the 20th of July assassination attempt against Hitler in 1944 he was sentenced to death, but was liberated by the Allies before the sentence was carried out. Later he became the President of the Evangelical Church in Hessen and Nassau and was the President of the World Council of Churches from 1961-1968. He was the author of many books including From the U-Boat to the Pulpit (1934). ( christian-travelers-guides.com )

POPSPayback is Hell A life of hiding and lies catches up with oldster. Some transgressions are too monstrous to ever forget or forgive. I don't suppose his life in Germany is going to be any easier. And don't weep for his wife. She abetted this criminal for decades.

POPS Rock Concert Held At Nazi Death Camp For Serbia's small Jewish community, the weekend concert at the Sajmiste camp near the center of Belgrade is the latest indignity to befall a site they say needs to be saved from decades of neglect and deterioration. Stray dogs wander forlornly around the rundown gray brick barracks that used to house of one of the most notorious World War II Nazi death camps in the Balkans Soon, the site where some 48,000 Jews, Serbs and Gypsies perished in the 1940s will be throbbing to the rhythms of rock music.
