POPSEvery time the little bear cub moved, I heard her cry with pain Trembling at the prospect of each blow from the stick, each rough pull of the rope, she is forced to wander the dusty roads, standing and swaying on her hind legs on command. She tires easily from her poor diet, pants with thirst in the oppressive heat, shakes with fear and exhaustion. Yet this bear cub dare not stop dancing, and she must do so again and again. This story is typical of the plight of many bear cubs in India. Sadder still, over 50% of these beautiful little creatures do not even survive the journey to 'market'. They simply die in cages en route, from starvation, dehydration and trauma. That's why these bears desperately need your support. WSPA is working with the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) to stop this barbaric practice. Our aim is to halt it at the source, and your help is vital in helping us stop this cruelty.

POPSGreyhound Racing Will Break Your Heart. After watching the video at the end of this clip, I cried for 30 minutes. But these critters need all the witnesses and help they can get. If you are so inclined, there's a petition at the website that you can sign to help end this vicious cycle. Gotta go, so I can look into what's involved in adopting one of these dogs. Sheesh! it's the last thing I need, another critter... Oh well!

You will be terrified what we doing now and inevitably come to the vegan lifestyle, where is no place for cruelty, diseases, tricks and sufferings.

POPSWill Dog Fighting Videos be Protected by Freedom of Speech? If the Supreme Court rules to uphold the conviction of Stevens, the law will be reinstated and animals will once again be protected from people who make money from their suffering. It seems like it should be an easy decision for the Supreme Court, but since the concept of free speech has come into question everyone from book publishers to movie producers, photographers, artists and journalists have gotten involved. They have taken animal cruelty out of the equation and replaced it with their own interests that they believe will be damaged if Stevens loses. Even the ACLU has gotten involved. The New York Times went as far as filing a “brief” in support of Stevens. They said, “The 1999 law imperils the media’s ability to report on issues related to animals.” Media publications cite that they are concerned that hunting and fishing magazines will be censored and general reporting on animal issues will be limited.

POPSIsrael Cruelty Towards Palestinian Children. The children are held in solitary confinement, in tiny cells, like the "Lockup", a cell 1.5m X 1.5m, or the "Closet", a cell the height of a person, in which one can stand but not sit or move, or the "Grave", a box that's closed from the top and measures 1m X 60 cm with a depth of about 80 cm. Good thing kids are flexible, eh? And the children are tried by a military tribunal. You can bet the Israelis don't treat their own kids like this. Wonder what kind of effect such treatment will have on this generation of Palestinian kids?

POPSMore Details Released On Sparkman Lynching Poor guy, what he must have gone through before he died..... And all for a temp job to make a few bucks. Sick, twisted, nauseating. All those media mouths that convince the unbalanced that they would be heroes for doing what was done to this guy, have a lot to answer for. And I'll bet they're pretty proud of their power to instigate cruelty and murder. What courageous patriots they are. What a flagrant display of contempt for the responsibility of bringing information to the people. Yep, they really showed Sparkman, the government and the rest of the world exactly what they stand for.
